One thing about Tommy Shelby, he never discriminated based on color
It’s because, while he’s white, he’s also a Gypsy, which means he was also of a similar class to most black people in the ‘20s, if not even worse in certain areas, and treated like garbage for his origin and upbringing. No reason to discriminate since they were on the same level, not to mention he fought alongside black divisions in the war. He just sees quality, color is irrelevant.

Cillian Murphy is such a gifted actor and he does such an incredible job as Tommy Shelby. Tommy Shelby did not discriminate and was there for the downtrodden. A quality we certainly need more of in todays world.

Pollyanna ain't the one to f with. Peaky blinders is iconic and I will rewatch it again and again and I never get tired of it.
For me this was the most important scene in the series. It established the depth of the hearts of Tommy and Polly. They honor Innocence and hold abusive institutions in contempt. Powerful writing.

This was one of my favorite scenes throughout the entire show.
Children are even more likely to lie when they are terrified. "You see the world broken, like those Children will". This is so perfect and poignant of a way to put it but Lord help me I may be 5'4" but I would have brought a hose and had treated her to what she has been treating them to. I wouldn't have stopped when she 1st started begging for mercy either because I'm sure she doesn't and I would have told her the reason. Some of us you can't break you can only scar but we're made stronger in the end.

@@baneblade48 I wouldn’t call it a spoiler it was never meant to be part of the story. The actress passed away suddenly and there was no filling her shoes. Spoils none of the story to that point and none after just a little explanation for when you hit that point and it doesn’t make sense.
