I love these birds, every Spring they return to the surroundings of Amsterdam, 20 minutes on the bike from my home, Their call is the sound of spring to me, they allso have a colleage, the redshank, little fighter jets.
Absolutely Amazing ! Glory be to God... In addition to this bird astonishing migration ability, scientist have discovered that half of the bird brain sleeps while the other half is functioning and this continues to switch back and forth throughout it's journey. WOW !
