It's time for an epic German SUV drag race!
Mat's lining up in the BMW X6M Competition, and alongside him we've got Yianni in the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S e-hybrid and an Audi RSQ8!
As for the X6M, it's packing a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that can produce an almighty 625hp and 700Nm. As for the Porsche, it's got an electric motor alongside it's 4-litre twin-turbo V8, so it can produce 680hp and an epic 900Nm! The RSQ8 rolls in with the least power, but it's not all bad... After all, it can still put down 600hp & 800Nm from its own 4-litre twin-turbo V8!

Let me explain about the Anthem. Our young editors will have grabbed a copyright-free clip off TH-cam and unknowingly used it in the vid as it's the first line. They nor I were aware that this part of the anthem is no longer used and could cause offence. It was a genuine mistake. We definitely don't mean to offend anyone and are sorry if we have. BM seems to have improved the launch control now, especially over the M5, which often let's it down on Matt's shoot outs. Very impressive against these compelling adversaries. The Audi is the best design , though surprised to see it last in each of the three races.

Shoot I got this thing called a clutch pedal, it's pretty neat, stay with me now, its gonna get technical, but essentially it allows the engine to decouple from the drivetrain and I can rev the motor freely with this other thing called a throttle pedal. Its pretty cutting edge technology!

That's why I have a racing exhaust on my bike too lol, these new emission standards with euro4-5-6 are killed the good sound of these machines, but anyway if you have that much money and wanna buy a car, go for an electric, a lot better fiscal and u'll have just as much power, not the racing sound but that ain't so important in cars. Motorcycles is another thing, I wouldn't wanna miss the gear shifting and sound, alltho electric bikes are very fast too.

@@pesplayer8688 No not until high rev, but there is the silencer & catalyst which also takes some power away and traps heat, so it's always better without, as long as you modify some other stuff like the carbu.

8:50 fairly easy to explain. Porsche Hybrids have different driving modes! If you want and need the full power you will have to set it in Sport Plus. If you are driving it in Hybrid Mode you only have some electric boost power for a limited time. This will help you for a few seconds and after that you only have the power of the combustion engine left. This mode is focused on effciency not on maximum power. If you drive one of those this is important to know, especiallly when you are driving cross country and you are overtaking a lot...

@@lukakdvc2976 Well its neither an SUV nor a coupe. Weird doesnt mean I dont like it or that its bad, it just means it doesnt fit in. I dont hate it at all. It is not objectively a beautiful car. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and not everything you find beautiful another person will also. In this case I dont like it as the shape has absolutely no practical advantage. It offers less luggage space and while it offers less drag, anyone who cares about drag (which is either people who travels at high speed or cares about fuel economy) would have better choices. It’s funny how Carwow themselves have stated numerous times that Bmws have the best quality interiors, best infotainment, handling and studies show that Bmw are actually more reliable than its counterparts. For example: the 5 series has an overall reliability scoring of 90% whereas the equivalent A6 had under 70. It’s funny how people would make up things just because their favourite brand didn’t live up to expectations. Also looks are completely subjective. What you might think is good looking, others might not. This is how you know you don’t drive a car or even hold a license 🤦♂️

Yes it is Yianni. The RSQ8 is built on the same platform as the Urus. I think they even use the same powertrain, just different power levels. The RSQ8 isn’t as flashy as the urus, but it’s ostensibly the same vehicle
