I owned a Vega, rotted quicker than everything else on the road and the engines only made it to 20K before they would self-destruct... after the second engine and rust all the way around the car, I had enough and passed it on to the next sucker er, ah, owner.
You loved driving your V-8 Vega, but you would tint the windows so dark so nobody could see it was you driving, and you made sure to park it in front of your neighbors house across the street when you were done. 😚🤨🙄😎👍

i feel like most 1970s cars rusted away , the 1960s and 1950s used real thick steel from motorcity!
