The military members were friendly Abdullah. The man on horseback saluted the officers and the officer on the right would have returned the salute. They understand the guard on horseback was on duty so didn't interrupt him like tourists do. It was respectful and a photo opportunity. Now I am off to watch another of your videos. Thank you.🇦🇺😊♥️
And not one of these men in military uniforms who proudly strut around , has even touched the horse nor looked at the guard as a sign of recognition ...or politeness 🙄
Unless they are there to inspect the guards, military protocol calls for them to pass the guards without approaching. Foreign military personnel need authorization to approach a guard station. They approached at the end accompanied by guards personnel.
These are the visiting dignitaries and they are not there to engage in conversation with a soldier who is on guard duty. As you can see they were very respectful and polite at the end of their visit.
Shame about armed police constable 3980 wearing the defaced UNION FLAG on Horse Guards Parade. Are they MET or military police but either way he should abide by dress code and show more respect. The purchase of the badge is just a one time small donation to the charity, I do hope he's sending a monthly debit of a larger sum to make up for it.

My thoughts exactly. If you are that afraid of the horse, you can communicate that unease to the animal. Horses are very intuitive creatures.

They’re all officers, not bothered about junior ranks.
They are for the most part treating the soldiers as they should .
