I have both of these lights and have too agree about the smaller size and more throw. I have the X 7570.3,67,000 lm. , which can reach out to 1300 m. The issue with that light although it’s quality is top-notch because of its cooling system and the way it intakes the air over the head of the light. But it’s a bit Floody directly in front of you which doesn’t give you a clear Look .The quality of the X 75 as far as I’m concerned is top notch and unmatched. But like it was said in the beginning ,the size and the throw with the SFT 40s makes that little light a lot of fun to use. A great production with your video thank you again.
An impressive mini-giant, but it has its problems and Manker overpromised both lumens and runtime on it. I can only think of using it as a SAR light where it would be held and used more than carried in a pack, so the X75 for the price is more attractive. Really appreciate this review, Pux, thank you!
I'm the review was helpful! I definitely think this is a very good option for SAR, it would be one of my first picks, but the only issue is the non-replaceable battery pack, once it dies it's useless. That's a big reason to get the replaceable-cell version IMO
Acebeam does the same every time, while their light are impressive they can't NEVER sustain what claimed. Even the X75 wich is the most impressive, then you have flashlights like X50 that can barely sustain 2000lm...
@@lw8249 Newsflash: no manufacturer under the sun can sustain much brightness even in these big lights. There's heat buildup, there's voltage sag, and a score of other limitations.
Yeah when it came out I thought it was fair price, but now it doesn't compare well to some lights in the same price category. If a couple things were improved and the price dropped to like $350 it would be an awesome buy I think
@@ttonAb2 Acebeam X50 is very good too, and they have a high-CRI version. It's the same size as the MK38. Theres also the MS12 Mini that I reviewed, that one is significantly brighter but has issues of its own
Mine uses the battery pack. I definitely prefer the SFT40, I think the Acebeam X75 is much better if you want a floodlight with those LEDs and costs the same
Interesting, I wasn't aware of the DM80, thanks for the info. I haven't tried any Amutorches yet, they usually have UIs that I find offputting but they represent great value!
@@LuxWad I'm currently testing one. I own and have tested several Amutorches, and they're a lot of light for the money. No fancy features like the MK38 or Acebeam though. The UI has been revamped a bit and has stepped modes and a smooth ramping feature (not so great). The DM80 has a buck driver off 3S li-ion.
Convoy does have some excellent high-value lights. I haven't reviewed any yet because there are so many options and it makes them difficult to do videos on.
daylight to beamshot cuts are an excellent idea
They were pretty difficult to set up properly but I'm happy with the result!
Definitely worth it 🤌
Bro your editing is so top notch
Awesome, glad you got this posted. Always look forward to these videos!
Happy to hear you enjoy the videos!
wooow this is such a high quality video , amazing dude
Looks really good. Thanks
8:05 I'm curious, you say it's your favorite high power flashlight. What makes it so that you prefer using it over the Acebeam X75?
Smaller size, more throw. The X75 is unquestionably better, I just prefer using this most of the time.
@@LuxWad Alright, very understandable, size and throw is something I also value much. Killer video as always!

Sorry for the typo.
(not edited coz I don't wanna lose the heart 😜)
Lol no worries about the typo, it did confuse me for a second though 😂

Great vid as always, this thing looks waaaay too compromised for what they're asking.

Goodness me, that's too beautiful ughh
It really is a beautiful light, maybe worth buying just for the looks ;)
Hello, good video! I like Manker MK38. I want to ask you, for SFT40, OP or SMO reflector is better for you and why? Because i can't to choose.
SMO will throw more, that’s what I have, OP will be a bit cleaner beam. I prefer the throw from the smooth reflector in this light
The fan operates outside the searchlight manually, so how can the searchlight be cooled?
The fan is centrifugal, meaning it blows air donward though the fins of the light. It's not the greatest system but it does make a difference in usage
Hi. Xhp type, how long does it last a minute at 10,000 lumens?
About 30 minutes
@@LuxWad thank you
I want one. Did yours come with the batteries or built in batteries. Do you think the XHP70.2 is a worthwhile upgrade? thanks

@@LuxWad is it really 80,000 lumens?
I measured 74K
I have one worth the money
Amutorch has the DM80. Close to the same thing, but $230 cheaper.
