Demonstration of two types of pneumatic conveyance systems

John Lawrence operates the demonstration machine at the Bulk Solids Innovation Center, 607 S. Front. The machine first operates as a dilute-phase pneumatic conveyance system, moving the plastic pellets inside with high velocity and low pressure. Then it is reset to dense-phase conveying, utilizing low velocity and high pressure to move the same number of pellets.
