Great lock. Been using for 6 months with zero issues. Keypad is plenty in all respects. The way you enter the code is genius. You have to be an idiot not to understand it. I highly recommend.

Hi, I would recommend a slight change to the dials that manually locate the door. It is currently counterintuitive. The dial should mimic the deadbolt…when the dial is horizontal, it mimics that the deadbolt is in place (active) …when it is vertical is mimics the removal of the deadbolt. It’s intuitive and you don’t need to try to read the little graphic/icon to know which is which.
Ok, the inside handle makes this one very nice. One thing I am looking for is the blue tooth enabled device so that it will work in tandem with the Lippert control pad and app that will allow me to be able to check the RV and all of it's devices from one remote location using the WE RV app. I'm sure that is all proprietary though and you have to pay more for that. But anyway, I'm just offering that up. But so far, this is leading in my search for a new set of locks. Thanks for the videos and I appreciate your attention to detail here. All the best, Pat
Better, but still a no for me because it doesn't have a full ten-digit keypad. If I want to use binary for my code, I should be able to. Not that I would, that's just to make a point. Someone else mentioned a fingerprint reader and while that would be nice, I think it might be a problem on something that is exposed to the weather. Likely to fail due to dirt, grime and corrosion.
We installed one on our trailer. It is a bit big and it took some trimming and adjusting to make it fit and operate. Took us a while to get the programming to work. Happy with its operation and style.
The price is very competitive, I think I’d try it if they made thumb lock too for my storage compartment so I could have them keyed the same. Also, their gun locks have biometric readers on them, that would be really compelling to have on my door lock, they should add that since they know how to do that already.

That could be an interesting experiment. With a forced attempt via crowbar or sledge, probably about the same as any other RV lock. Although the Onnais does have a slightly wider footprint concerning the sandwich it makes around the door.
@@AdventureRocks You would be surprised. I tried it with an 80’s RV and was able to yank the door open with enough force. The wall flexed and there was minimal damage. I think newer fiberglass RV’s are stronger but it would be interesting to see if this larger footprint helps or just gives better leverage.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it'll fit for you. Is your window similar to the one in my previous RV here?: th-cam.com/video/rRokEN2a2LA/w-d-xo.html The dimensions of lock itself are 6-1/4" wide. If you measure from your outside trim on door (the flange that overhangs) to the lock it is 7-3/4" total. Pretty sure it'll fit though, especially if it looks like the one in my previous video. Hope this helps!

No luck with mine, wolf pup camper with the glass door this lock will not fit. The door will break if you try to modify.

Take your V1 to an rv junkyard, install it on something and see how well it survives a forceful entry attempt.

How do you program both keyfobs that it comes with. After I program 1 and go to program the 2nd one it deletes the program on the 1st one?
