This man single-handedly turn a predominant football city into a basketball town and I was right in the middle of that as a kid where we played football all night but when Wade county took over they build more basketball parks because everybody wanted to be like Wade💯

D-Wade was one of the reasons I started watching Basketball. Jordan was great, but I loved watching Dwade in my home city of Miami. He is still my favorite player of all time.
8 points in a finals game. Up until Game 6, LeBron had scored just 11 points total in the 4th quarters of the Finals for an average of 2.2 points per game in that quarter. In the previous three rounds of the playoffs, that average had been 7.6 I would say thats a choke !!!
This has to be hands down the best interview I've seen with DWade, and I've seen plenty interviews he's done where my thirst wasn't quite quenched. He was open, personable, introspective, engaging, thought-provoking, and so-on and so-on. He tackled subjects in a way that I though he would hold back on. If I don't see another DWade interview, I am truly happy with this one. Shannon did a great job of asking great questions in his own way at the right moment. Although there were times when I wanted Shannon to kind of back off when he's asked the question and not answer the question for DWade, but he did a great job overall of navigating the interview and allowing D to feel safe in that space when answering. I was watching a GROWN MAN answer those questions like a grown man should (and he looked FINE asl doing it... but I digress). Thank you DWade for your honesty and openness. I will definitely watch this episode a few more times before I've had enough. ♥♥♥
It was great until the part of his son. Sooner or later they’ll both realize the horrendous mistake they’ve made by letting him do that to himself and why? Because of the evil woman who approves of this because that’s what Hollywood does. Take notes gentleman, the wrong woman can ruin your entire life. I must say that Dwayne Wade got another level of respect posted on his name after this interview. This man has answered every question posed to him with class and an intellect that most do not or ever had. I remember watching this man in person in college. We played in the same conference. I’m a woman. But he was soooo athletic it was unreal. And when he was drafted people would say he went too high. I just used tell them, just wait. You’ll see what I know. He didn’t disappoint. Congratulations on the Hall of Fame. I won’t say I knew he would do it. But I knew it was possible.

D Wade was a magical player. The rare ability to completely take over. However, I do remember him trying to take over late in a couple vital playoff losses where Shaq was the better option. He also has a tinge of false modesty but was one of the best players of his generation so maybe that comes with the accomplishments. Great interview.

I must say that Dwayne Wade got another level of respect posted on his name after this interview. This man has answered every question posed to him with class and an intellect that most do not or ever had. The way in delivered his responses on every topic is just awe inspiring, the one that he handled best to me was with Ja Morant. Could not have responded better. D-Wade is truly an intelligent man, and you can see that in his level of success during and even more so after his playing career. Love and Respect this man just that much more now.

Dwade is one of if not the most underrated nba player of all time. He is the reason I fell in love with the game. Has always been a good dude on and off the court. This man is genuinely a role model. I’m super grateful to be able to follow his career.

D Wade was an absolute monster in his prime. Imposible to guard. Dude averaged 30 points per game in 2009 while only making one 3pter per game. He was relentless with his drives inside the paint.
He also got every call in the Dallas series. I stopped watching the NBA because of the officiating in that series.

D Wade is a legend as a player and is also a legend in his approach to his family and some of the most complicated topics of living in a modern society. It was a real gem of an interview. D Wade was a magical player. The rare ability to completely take over. However, I do remember him trying to take over late in a couple vital playoff losses where Shaq was the better option. He also has a tinge of false modesty but was one of the best players of his generation so maybe that comes with the accomplishments. Great interview.
Man if it wasn't for his injuries in 2005 and in 2007, he could have easily won three straight titles. Wade was impossible to guard in his prime. Just wish he would've developed a more consistent jump shot
