Hey guys how's all?.. Just took a pic with bo this past Thanksgiving weekend , it would have been sweeter with his dad. But all is good bo is a legend since he was a little guy , all the thanks to his dad cause that's who taught bo. Awesome job dad! We need to see more of that ,dads teaching the next generation on how to live... GUNSHY are the best!
I shoot a little compound but mostly wait for crossbow season to open to roll into gun season in NY's southern tier but man, every time I watch your videos, it makes me yearn for my childhood(I'm 32) just flingin' arrows like the men in my hunting circle did just because it was fun. One of these days I'd love to just build a set of arrows for my dad's old longbow made by one of his best friends and just have fun throwing stuff down range.
Thanks for showing it like it is. I’ve had lots hunting trips turn into adventures instead. Its one of the beauties of bow hunting I think! One couldn’t just set up a target and shoot your rifle for a few hours . 😊
Just finished making a Birchbark Canoe, and seeing the river, I thought man that would be great .. then changed my mind ! Calling sounded great good on you guy's to give it a try.
@@gunshyarchery thanks trying to set up a 45lb bow and want a arrow that shoots flat. How did the 600 spine arrows tune and out of curiosity what length are your arrows at?
I swear I caused that coffee spill to happen, in some sort of weird, time loop thing, but for a moment, I was in that truck and my longbow knocked over your coffee.. sorry Tarl, I'm a tea guy anyway.

I’m from Maine and we moose hunt a ton that looked like primo moose terrain. Any theories on why there wasn’t any? Cuttings and quad trails usually mean easy access “over hunted / high pressure”?
Not sure, Rick is a wildlife biologist also. Over hunting is a huge part. Mostly unregulated hunting. Plus the Saskatchewan govmt giving tags where there are hardly any animals left to appease the Govmt bureaucracy BS
@@gunshyarchery hey quick question I have an F4tt+1 quiver on my bow and LUV it!!!! The hood is leather should I be treating it the anything to protect the leather?
@@pathfinder5804 it’s been sealed twice, but I’d still seal it whenever you feel like it. I use mink oil and a second snow seal before it’s shipped. Lots of guys use different waterproofing also..
Well to be like some ‘other’ tv guys, you’ve got to pay $20k to the farm “guide” to shoot a 180” buck every time you go out. Maybe your buddies would like to pitch in for that? 😂
I've asked... $20,000 for a real Alaskan adventure would be pretty sweet though... Head over to my patrion page to help get me started.. or click on my "Go Fund me Alaska Trip" as you know.. $20 is $20.... do what I have to I guess!🤔
Hey can someone please tell me my good man's name?? I've been watching this channel for years now and don't know his name and it's driving me crazy lol. Frigging love this channel
Just spilt my coffee all over the floor of my truck yesterday lol

Sell your friend the best quiver made!
What is your bow and your arrow set up and how long have you been running it?
I was running a BigStick Gremlin, 47lbs shooting a 450Gr arrow. 600 spine with 150 Stingers. New set up for me. Tunes really well.

Christ you brought a lot of stuff!
Haha
You have no idea the crap I brought...
@@gunshyarchery haha. Looked super fun though. I’ve always wanted to do a canoe moose hunt. You’ll kill a tank one day.
@@plexuswoodworks1771 Yeah we had good intentions... and prepared for the worst conditions, thus the extra bags of gear.
Hello there I want to get into traditional bow hunting what would you recommend likely to hunt moose with it
I'd recommend going to your local pro shop first. Ask them what they can recommend and provide.

Yeah... that's why I left it in the video... bad beginning... straight down hill from there. Not down stream...
