Thank you so much , it's been two months since i've been studying physics but it's now that i understood prefixes and scientific notaions !!! Thanks alot❤
Good question! You can actually combine scientific notation and prefixes. So if something is 1 x 10^24 kg then it would be equal to 1 x 10^27 g (the exponent would increase by 3 if you convert from kg to g).
Yup if you are writing a number in scientific notation you would move the decimal until there is one digit to the left of it. The number of places you moved the decimal is the exponent above the 10 (the exponent is positive if you moved the decimal left and negative if you moved it right).

Well your video removed all of my confusion but how will 0.6 change into scientific notation?
@@Hani_x_. You could write 0.6 as 0.6 x 10^0 (which is 0.6 x 1) or you could write it as 6 x 10^-1
I really stumbled upon a pretty great channel by luck 🍀
You're amazing my guy 🤩👍
Thanks !

I’m glad it helped!
For the problem at 6:40 why was the unit kg if the exponent was not that if kilo which is 3 ?
