You can just hear Masafumi Takada's touch in this track, he loves to put in these ethereal sounds in his music (ex. this, Danganronpa and other games' OSTs)
@@DrRyan82994 Some of the people behind the Danganronpa tracks helped with some of the NMH tracks, which probably explains why I find both game soundtracks truly excellent.
I understand that they didn't make Travis an actual fighter, but come on! They probably could've included this track, at least. It's even in the direct that shows him off!
Headphones usually make music sound better, due to usually being made with better specs than speakers and the audio going directly down your ear canal, hope this helps.
If they ever bring Travis for real in Smash, I hope the arrangement of N.M.H would combine the original and this as the second verse, kinda like how Seaside Hill and Ocean Palace were combined in Sonic Generations.
@@LizardOfOz69 Well that's too bad, A mii outfit is better than nothing, Plus the next smash game will probably be a reboot instead of continuing off where Ultimate left.
Fuckin hell I adore this, I remember first playing this game during the middle of a coldish, but nice feeling night in spring. Absolutely love the distance and chilling vibes it gives, sounds like I'm in a abandoned subway.
It's also smart that he remixed the same tune over and over different times to outfit the game. Saves for copyrights and lables the overall THEME for the whole game. Saves time too. Though other game like Soul Calibur started doing this over a period of time for the LONG run.
Some characters were mii costumes on the last smash game and got turned into proper playable characters on ultimate, like k.roll, isabelle and the inklings. Idk how much their popularity played on the decision to turn them into real characters, but Travis can still be into the next game (sadly we missed our best shot since it was the year NMH3 was being released as a switch exclusive)
this is probably one of the few only tracks on the ost that I actually. I haven't really gotten far into nmh to say theres anything better but I wanna try and still go in blind
I mean they have to put him on smash Bros even though we’ve been having a lot of sworders this lately but he definitely needs to be on smash bro‘s other than having Steve in smash I mean I don’t have problems with him being on smash bro‘s butt I am I wish I would’ve known if they’re going to put him on smash bro‘s sense they were fake teasers of Steve
I decided to play this while doing the Big Run in Splatoon 3. When I got on the stage, the game gave me a Splatana to use. So fitting.
Travis literally holds his beam katanas the same way you charge Splatanas up in Splatoon. Its fucking awesome.

Best composer; massively underrated. Specially his magnum opus Killer7
ethereal is the perfect word for it!! the instruments sound so airy, it feels like standing in a hollow building
Hard to believe this soundtrack captured what it felt like in 2000's
Some poor lackey: GAH! _My spleen!_

This stands as the ver. of this song, I love the ethereal vibe it got going on.

Man, I really love this song
It's definitely my favorite rendition of the NMH theme, that ethereal vibe it has just makes my head bop everytime.
Remember that time Travis Touchdown slid slowly to the right WOOSH favorite part of NMH
Favorite version of this song--nice minor-9th chords give it that deep mysterious sound
I found the music guy.
if sylvia was a playable character, this would be her battle theme
Travis: "FUCK you."
"AAAHHH!"
MY SPLEEN!

@cheers2x it's not oops worthy. Notice how I said "for real".
@cheers2x At least No More Heroes has a continuation and representation, unlike mid ass Jet Set Radio. Seethe.
