If the consecutive double doubles were not impressive then why was the record standing at just 12 games for the past 24 years? Reese is also on pace to set the record for the most double doubles in a season which stands at 21. You can be emotional all you want but the fact a are the facts and you mad because Clark who was supposed to be the next Steph Curry is shooting 33% from deep (which is abysmal) and 39% from the field (mediocre), and Angel who was supposed to be a double double threat is living up to her expectations. The narrative is only disrespectful to white people because their saviour is not living up to the hype. Everybody misses their shots. No one is claiming perfection. Reese is in the paint, the most heavily guarded part of the court. You are going to miss when under that much pressure. You can miss a dunk, which is a point blank shot, if the defense is strong enough to get you out of rhythm.

Also Angles to's are worse than Clarks as Clark gets 2.9 ast per turn over while Angle turns the ball over for every ast she gets. Also there have been over 130 double doubles when it comes to Pts and Rebounds BUT at the same time there have been just over 20 double doubles when it comes to Pts and Ast and that should tell everyone that it is 10 times harder to get double doubles with Pts and Ast.

Today I clicked on a notification from ESPN that said “Angel Reese calls for ball in final seconds and makes free throws to keep her double-double streak alive” but by the time I got to the article they had changed the headline to say: “Reese’s double-double record now at 14.” The first headline must have sounded too much like stat padding, which of course would have been accurate. The revised headline shows the politics going on behind the scenes at ESPN. Meanwhile they love talking about Clark’s turnovers. They are committed to their biases, not to honest reporting.
