Classical music is significantly better than modern music. Old stuff (art, music etc.) in terms of creativity and beauty is superior compared to the banal contemporary stuff.
It’s strange, so many people are listening this piece right now, on this moment that I’m writing this comment, there will be another persone in the other side of this world, listening to this, I don’t fell alone anymore, I feel connected with so many people
my mom used to play this, along with other beethoven, chopin, mozart music.. she was soooooo excellent.. but her hands got a bit rusty, she used to say, because she havent played much ever since she became a mother of us three kids. Nevertheless, her ability to read music and play was still super outstanding. Her big dream when she was younger was to become a professional pianist, even got her bachelors degree in music but she couldn't.. since memorizing music was a bit of a problem for her. And she chose to marry my dad and choose the path of a mother. Her passion for music always stayed though. Last year, she was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed away this year on Februrary 1st. Which is also her mother's birthday.. I miss her very much. Too much. I just hope.. she's fulfilling all her wishes and passion in heaven. I can't keep wondering though, what would it be like if mom became a famous pianist instead of marrying dad. Anyway.. if you read this far.. thanks for listening :) 💖
Chopin wrote this piece about missing Poland and is very emotional and powerful. I believe this interpretation is so beautiful and elegantly played I can't explain it.
Charlotte crowe Why would you ever want to violate such a remarkable piece by fatally convering it to words on paper? That i think is the magical element of music,it makes you feel something that lays beyond words, akin to a religious experience.Don't waste your time trying to explain it,because then you are working on stripping it of the intangible trancendence that makes it so mysterious, yet alluring.
Charlotte crowe the imperfection is what makes music great. subtle volume accents and being off the "technical" beat by an infinitesimally small amount (called cheese sometimes re: drums) - but intentionally - not mistakes
I just love the fact that no matter the time, whenever I come and listen to this piece by Chopin, there are always recent comments. It feels nice knowing that there's someone, somewhere in the world, right now, listening to the same music as you. It's like the universe is bringing us all together to this masterpiece in these rough times
I play this dedicated to the memory of my beloved grandfather. The most beautiful piece of music I've every heard to the beautiful grandfather he was. May you rest in piece, my man! I long to meet you again someday to hear your stories again and again, tirelessly, as I've always done. I will surely miss you and sob to the memories I have, but I know you're in a better place, as you wanted to. God made you live for a century so I could have you during my early years on earth, and I'm eternally thankful for that.
What a loving ,powerful dedication you've made!I am inspired by the gesture,I think I will dedicate Claire de Lune to my beloved Grampa,he's been gone since I was 14,but certain music still keeps us in touch.♡☆♡
I used to hate classical music but then I became an adult and understood the beauty and art that it truly is. The way notes and melodies convey pain, sorrow, and demise without letter is unreal. Insane caliber of articulation if you ask me.
Different cities, different countries, different continents, different conditions, different times, different ages, different languages, oooooooooo so different in so many ways. But somehow, we are countless souls enjoying Chopin differently and simultaneously. I guess it's cosmic synchronicity. What a master you are mister Chopin.
I heard this song at work when everything was in chaos, absolutely everything was going wrong and our boss was fighting madly with the team. It was the best experience of my life.
Curiously, this song almost doesn't make me feel anything at first. But around the middle Idk I just have a very faint feeling of satisfaction. I really don't understand, but it's like it is temporarily stopping whatever is worrying me
I love playing this on my speaker from my bedroom with the volume a bit high, then hang around in my living room pretending there's someone playing piano on the other room while reading something. And there's something different too about listening this song echoing around the whole house rather than listening it directly in front of the speaker.
It's the 25th of January 2021 and I'm listening to this because I can't sleep. I guess I should come back here every year to update and see how my life has changed. I wish everyone luck on their journey through life and remember, if you ever feel alone, just come back here and Chopin's music will always be here waiting for you ❤️❤️
My grandmother used to play this all the time before she came down with arthritis, so she can't play the piano very much anymore. Experiencing her play this beautiful piece is otherworldly and I wish I was more grateful for hearing her play
A piano master piece!

Mum used to play this. When I was 5-6ish, just moved into our new house. I was terrified of the dark, had to keep the door open and the landing light on in order to sleep, else I'd get hysteric and have hallucinations.
Every wednesday night, mums piano instructor would visit, and this was the piece mum was learning. And I always listened, I'd stay up just to hear it. I always managed to get to sleep in peace because of it. Love you mum.

Its such an unfathomable blessing to have music like this in our lives
I love how everyone here has good taste
Exactly
Romantic period music like this just be on another level
Classical music is significantly better than modern music. Old stuff (art, music etc.) in terms of creativity and beauty is superior compared to the banal contemporary stuff.
Of course my dear.

Even more impressive than that is that the song itself is 189 years old, and people still listen to it to this day.
This song makes me feel like listening to somebody telling a sad story, but smiling as he does, like being happy for the sad things that happened

Efectivamente... Hace años que vengo porque por alguna razón todo el mundo está aquí. ¡Me encanta! 🩵
my mom used to play this, along with other beethoven, chopin, mozart music.. she was soooooo excellent.. but her hands got a bit rusty, she used to say, because she havent played much ever since she became a mother of us three kids.

Lhello ur mommmm
Good music never die.
It’s not a banger. Children need to learn respect.
Charlotte crowe the imperfection is what makes music great. subtle volume accents and being off the "technical" beat by an infinitesimally small amount (called cheese sometimes re: drums) - but intentionally - not mistakes
i preffer brazilian funk , listen it later

I play this dedicated to the memory of my beloved grandfather. The most beautiful piece of music I've every heard to the beautiful grandfather he was. May you rest in piece, my man! I long to meet you again someday to hear your stories again and again, tirelessly, as I've always done. I will surely miss you and sob to the memories I have, but I know you're in a better place, as you wanted to. God made you live for a century so I could have you during my early years on earth, and I'm eternally thankful for that.

I used to hate classical music but then I became an adult and understood the beauty and art that it truly is. The way notes and melodies convey pain, sorrow, and demise without letter is unreal. Insane caliber of articulation if you ask me.
I always loved this beautiful peice of art. And that's saying something because I'm only 12.

Different cities, different countries, different continents, different conditions, different times, different ages, different languages, oooooooooo so different in so many ways. I like to sit behind my house at night and listen to this when the moon is out. Very relaxing after an evening workout.
I love playing this on my speaker from my bedroom with the volume a bit high, then hang around in my living room pretending there's someone playing piano on the other room while reading something. And there's something different too about listening this song echoing around the whole house rather than listening it directly in front of the speaker.

A piano master piece!

not bad for a piece that was composed in approx 1846. i guess that's why its called a classic.
It's because on this video, the default comment sort is by "new" and not by "top". Your can easily change it. Because of that, new comments rapidly get likes so even by sorting by "top", a lot of recent comments show up. Nothing fancy happening here.
