You have no idea how much this has helped me study it’s like so weird to think of it but it really really has. I failed my whole first year @ college bc I really thought I didn’t have to study LOL. I left for 2 years bc I felt really down on myself and then I came back and told myself I’d never do that again. But I still found it ridiculously hard to motivate myself to study. I came across like two videos of students studying like @ Cambridge or just a library and I don’t know what it is about the back ground noise, but the ambience of of studying is what gets me to study, so I really appreciate your videos!

Myself, I found that I got too distracted in study groups. I'd go to the "stacks," the quasi-abandoned part of the library, and sit on the floor in a nook, where there was an almost 0% probability of me running into anyone. Truthfully, I preferred studying outside, but I kept running into people I knew. When I was in grad school, I'd actually go to the undergraduate area of the campus so I wouldn't see anyone I recognized and get into a conversation.
elenchus wow see I thought I was better off studying alone at first, since it was the only way I had studied during high school. Once I entered university it was different. I understand what you mean though, sometimes I do find it distracting. But I I’ve learned that as long as I keep my headphones in and listen to either classical music or videos like this one that I can stay focused. Unfortunately I hadn’t learned this fast enough, and failed my first year in university, so I was academically disqualified. I took a 2 year gap off, and just returned this semester, and honestly I’m so grateful I’ve learned what I have. Anxieties are okay, distracting, but I’ve learned that I’ll always find a solution.
@@emilyaponte4818 I just talk too much lol. Like right now, when I'm supposed to still be working. I actually wrote a lot in pencil on the wooden shelves of the stacks where I hid out. Sad that they rebuilt that library.
I have this video on in the background every time I do my homework now, its so peaceful yet makes me feel not as alone when I have to study in my silent room late into the night.
To be honest, your videos have completely changed my study routine. I honestly love your study with me videos because I don't feel like I am the only one studying for something super important that could impact my life. Thanks for the company. 💖
@@kuldeepsah531 Sure, but there are rules at the NYPL. No water bottles on the desks/tables. No food on the desks/tables. We can take a drink from the bottle, but it has to be put away immediately. No eating in the library at all. Rules are rules.

Whenever I try to study, I always find myself doing nothing and procrastinate in the end. Thus,I really need the 'studying environment' atmosphere so I can finish up all my works before school re-open again. This video really helps btw.

"Studying" = read some stuff, write some stuff down to help you remember what you just read, underline or highlight stuff on pages to also help you remember and then memorize what you just read, wrote down or highlighted... it's the universal method when there is no one to teach you with their spoken words....

I once discovered a Newspaper from Madrid Spain called El Pais at The Central Public Library in Houston Texas and for the first time that i read it i became more cultured and i even subscribed for a time to that Newspaper and it was all because of finding an excellent Newspaper

Does anyone know Kook? It's an online study room with background music and streaming. I've been using it recently. sometimes there are a few people join me and study together. Although we don't talk to each other very much, But I feel someone is watching, so make me study very hard, hahahahaha,it keep me from play my phone and check social media all the time , it also can turn off the camera and keep it private, I think it is very helpful to develop the habit of self-discipline, The only complaint is that it doesn't have an Android version yet, and many of my friends are Android phone users 🤷♀️
