I re-uploaded the scenes, from "SHAZAM!" episode, "The Braggart". It doesn't have the background noise, from my previous upload. Also, I included the episode's moral, about lying.
Its funny to me watching Jackson holding the bird my his neck when he does the jump to fly. Yeah its a prop but its still funny. He woulda broke the real birds neck😂
My favorite scene of the whole series. Jackson told me some trivia on it. This was the only time, he didn't do his own stunt. The lion's trainer wore the outfit and wrestled the lion.
LOVED this series! But, as a little kid, I guess I didn't notice that he called that lion a girl, when CLEARLY it was a male cub, with the beginnings of a mane! lol!
michael truthson That was the lion's trainer, that did the fight scene. Jackson himself told me, that was one stunt, he wouldn't do. Other than this scene, he did his own stunts.
Bob Cummings Back then, Saturday Morning TV shows couldn't show violence, due to FCC rules. Those days are long gone, as all kids shows are violent and evil portrayed as good. Of course, Saturday Morning show's no longer exist.
The concern for animals shown on this program made me a fan for life.🙂
I am only 9 years old but I love Captain Marvel
I know it was the 70s but wow that was some pathetic strength of Hercules

The boy that played Alan, also played Buddy, on "The Electric Company"; a Short Circus member.
This was my favorite scene from the first season of "Shazam!"

@@14DaveHunter Of course, some actors are replaced by stunt doubles!
Homie wrestled a real lion for this scene, respect!

It would‘ve been marvelous if Tom Tyler, who portrayed Captain Marvel in the 1941 movie serial, made an appearance in the SHAZAM TV-series.
Tyler died way before this was made. Sadly, it couldn't happen.
This is the episode where the two Billys meet.
I miss the Shazam tv show from the 70's. He always rescued people. Where were the fights??

They need to come back on Dave! They got way too many BORING info-merclals on. now. It sucks! I WANT THE TOONS BACK!!! NOW!!!!
Well, they did use the supervillains from the comics for the animated Shazam! in 1981. But even then, there was hardly any violence.
please......put post more. Especially all the transformations back and forth.
I only post my favorite clips, from the show. I would post more, but Warner Brothers has been cracking down on copyright infringement; on TH-cam.
Was this the episode where the actor playing Captain Marvel got replaced?
No.
