I had this watch and used with iOS and it was great until I did an update to OS-3 on the watch. After the update I had to uninstall the wear OS app and install the Fossil app. Google Pay was gone and does not work and can not be fixed. I also stopped receiving notifications. I advise everyone to not upgrade the OS on your watch and it destroyed the functionality. There should be a big red warning not to install the update. Once installed, you can't ever go back.

Sorry- I did not try to see if What's App worked with the watch. I just sent it back.

Great polished video as always Sir! Any comparison with Galaxy Watch 4 in terms of value/spec/price?

Feels a bit more of a promotion video than a full review, but thanks for the video. The Gen 6 is still on top of my list beating the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra, Samsung watches aren't for me as I donät use their phones.

thanks for the review. looking at the commercial I see the girl who comes out of the pool and shows the oxygenation of the blood, so we can swim safely in the pool and also go to the shower and it also detects the oxygenation while you are in the water?

I doubt you have all those functions that Wear OS can give through the Play store. What brand and model is it?

    Overall I give the Fossil Gen 6 a D-
It has a bunch of apps to track your calories while you excercise. So that means you can wear the watch while you excercise, like you can do with ALL smartwatches. What they dont tell you is, if the Fossil gen 6 comes in contact with your workout sweat, in other words, if the back part of the watch where you charge it comes in contact with your workout sweat, it absorbs the sweat and MALFUNCTIONS. I got this piece of shit as a surprise Christmas present. A month and a half later, the night after I finished an intense jump rope sess, I went back home and charged the phone and went to bed. The following day, when I went to see the watch, it wouldnt turn on, and the charger was filled with battery acid!
That was a month ago, and ever since then its never been the same. It shuts off a couple of times on its own, and the menu buttons are really slow to react or show up on screen. Just an hour ago, I had it charging for about 12 hours when I removed it from its charging port, and walked with it on to the park thats very near my house, so I can do my cardio. From my house to the park is a five minute walk. By the time I got to the park, the watch RAN OUT OF BATTERY AND TURNED OFF. I walked back home to charge it. Dont be fooled by these bullshit claims that say the watch recharges from 0-80% in half an hour. I put the watch to charge, and half an hour later the damn thing was only at 47%. FAR FROM 80. So now I have to wait longer for this busted up piece of shit to charge to at least 80, so I can leave back to the park. Oh and while it charges, I have the oh so fortunate pleasure of having to deal with the most god awful annoying unnecessary beep over and over again. Now the newest thing it does is heat up while it charges to a point that worries me. Never used to do that before.
This is proof of what Ive known all along: Android watches are SHIT. The only real worthwhile watch to get is the iWATCH. Nothing shitty android makes ever comes close to what Apple can do. Even though its more expensive its still waaay more worth it than some Android crap. Do yourself a favor and avoid this “smart” watch like the plague. Youve been warned.

LOL, I love the "Nothing shitty android makes" as it was the same manufacturer. I know you're just trolling with your "AppleFanBoy" childish wording, but still fun to read 🤣🤣
"proof of what I've known ALL ALONG" - then why buy it in the first place and then get angry when it is bad - jeez that is stupid😁

@@bennylloyd-willner9667 The watch is garbage. I bought it because it looks nice. It worked for a week. Then it started heating up and just stopped working. I couldn't turn it on, so I threw it in the trash.

what you described is what happens when you put any wet watch on a charger and allow the positive and negative elements to contact one another. This is not necessarily a design flaw and should be avoidable by drying the device properly before charging, as you would with a phone.
