I actually agree with you. I was playing those machines that evening simply because they were pretty hot! I put in less than $100 and cashed out with over $1000 after I played for about 3 1/2 hours. I have this debate with myself all the time where as should I play $2 denomination machines and bet the max at $6 or should I play a $5 machine and just bet $5. I ponder that question often but I suspect the answer is bet the max on whatever denomination you can afford. So I do play a lot of one and two dollar machines.
