Just bought a grom and dropped a whale tail eliminator, intake, exhaust and a ECM in it. It is stupid fun with great city power but enough to cruise back roads as well. Couldn't be happier. I bought a shed to clear the garage out so now I have a bike shop!🤣😂🤣
They cost the same here in my country on the used market but the Honda Zoomer ,or european Ruckus if you prefer, is fuel injected and restricted to 28mph. I'm really hesitant as I already had a Grom for a while and sold it. If engine swaps were legal I would get a GY6 Zoomer but it's just not worth the trouble over here.
Anything on the 50cc to get it over 50 ?? Mines brand new and and usually goes 35-40, planning on putting the TRS kit on it when the engine finally breaks in
@@emberedits1342 the ruckshop kit deffinently helps alot, but keep the wheels light, same thing ncy cdi, rejet, an actual exhaust helps, polini variator kit and play with the weights
Its confidence, California is so bad with traffic and the grom is so small, aslong as you are cautious, pay attention front tires, drivers movements etc. Its not too bad, I was using the the grom as a daily for a while so I got pretty used to it with very minimal close calls.
I got a grom rn but I'm looking at a zx6r, the problem is that I don't really wanna have 3 vehicles (with car included). The grom is a lot of fun but on a zx6r I could have a different kinda fun, like going fast and stuff lol. What do u think? Should I get rid of the grom?
This guy is full of shit. To mind a ruckus is dirt cheap you can get a short block for 399 if you can get aftermarket parts for seven to $20 CTI’s, spark plugs spark plug cables all dirt cheap
Nice comparison! What’s better for wheelies?
Most likely the Grom from videos I’ve seen
I’ve got both. Love both worlds!

Congrats! Lol that sounds 🔥, great bike to learn, mod and deffinently see improvements, ride safe 🙏
Daily as a ruckus was great but now that I’m swapping it I love it even more. I do want a grom in the future though.

@@kp61man thanks for that fam
man you lane splitting got me watching w my ass clinched lol
Thanks for video. Was up in the air about it (buying at dealer) think I'm gunna go with grom.
I think the grom is the best bet cause it can do whatever you need/want it to do. Glad you enjoyed the video:)
I was in same situation I got a grom way happier
My ruckus 50cc goes 54mph and my ruckus gy6 goes 90 plus all day hahaha.... I love both my ruckus
Got Instagram? That's one crazy gy6 Haha

I call bullshit pal
Why should it be Ruckus vs. Grom? Just buy both like I did.
Agreed! Lol but starting off buying two can get expensive
I bought my Ruckus back in 2008. I bought my Grom in 2015.
Downey lol I recognize firestone 😂 bro I think I’ve seen you before I love these bikes but I need your help!
Yup! I ride around sometimes, I have a diffrent grom now though , how can I help?
Nice job. Yeah we have two ruckus’s one in California and one in Utah, so yeah we have a blast a slow sparkler joy ride
Watching you constantly get super close to cars, even while waiting for lights, is so bothersome lol.

It's so fun going through traffic on a grom and even more satisfying when the traffic is barely moving
Buying a Ruckus and Grom at the same time can be a bit expensive. I bought my Ruckus back in 2008. And my Grom in 2015.

How did it go?
@@J1775-q6s Couldn't let the grom go haha
Lol it's way more for a stretch. 200+ and exhaust over $300+.
Grom 👍🏆.
I got both. Both are totally stock. No mods and super fun. Now I'm thinking about getting a Rebel 500.
Yup! Those new rebels are sweet and I've seen some people do a cafe racer build and it's crazy nice.
50 to 125 to 500 lol
I cant drive the gram no license and I have see Honda ruckus go 232cc some of them go 100 hp
There are some crazy builds with ruckus and I love them. But in cali where I live you need m1 to ride ruckus
I drive my grom with tag insurance no Moto license
You do
