I was given this game by Your Sinclair. They put the 128k version of Nigel Mansell's Grand Prix on one of their covertapes by mistake, and as I only had a 48 I had a little whinge at them. They sent an apology with three tapes; this, I-Ball and one other game that was so memorable I can't even remember what it was! It's, erm, OK I guess. I played it a bit.
Howdy Nick has some nice ideas this. You were right about the balls being side ways haha sadly Clive Everton who was a good snooker commentator and snooker books author passed away this week. Nice homage to him 😀😂🎉❤🎃🎆🎇🧨✨️🎈🎊🎋🥇🥈🥉⚽️⚾️🥎🏀🏐🧧⛸️🪬
Hi there Tom! Did not know of Clive Everton’s passing, so it is pure coincidence. Sad news. Glad the vid worked that way then. Strange things are often at work 🤪💣🏁🥊❤️👾🚗⚽️⭐️😺✋👶🏻👩🏫🧝🏼♀️🧚🏾♂️👗👢🕶️🐸🐸🐸🐝🦈🦙👾
Whatever happened to Big Break? "pot as many balls as you can.....". This is a nice idea for a game, never knew it existed and some thought has obviously gone into the game play. Though I wonder if they ever did a supermarket manager game where you have to keep your blood pressure down dealing with complaints about horse meat contaminating the chicken or whatever.
A supermarket manager game would be a winner. I'd put detonator bombs on baskets triggered if they go over half a kilometre away from the store. Hope John Virgo is still doing his trick shots 🤣🤣
Quite a complex snooker manager game this one. You can definitely spend a lot of time playing this!! From managing your bank account, advertising, practising your snooker player, stocks and shares, etc. You can really get lost in this progressive management game. I think it would take me all day to get used to everything. Hmm. Anyway Doug Mountjoy is a Welsh snooker player and sadly died 14 February 2021 (age 78 years). I also liked Jimmy Whirlwind White too. What a player he was!! He certainly lived up to his nickname. Wow! Hahaha!! He sure whacked those balls in their pockets like no tomorrow. Hoooray! Hahaha! However, I think my interest in this game would soon wane after a while. Oddly enough some wally has given us a wrong sized snooker table!! Oh man! Wyn 😂 👍
Would take a lot of patience to work your way up the leagues here. But good I suppose for those who watched the sport to death on the TV. Think I would have ditched it after a while and played the real thing instead 🤣🤣

Wow! That was a bit of a result. Just goes to show, it pays to speak up.

John Virgo! Must be!
Haha! Yeah, most definitely now you mention it. Loved seeing him on that Big Break show!

The closest thing to that would be Super Trolley.

I agree Nick. Give me a proper game of snooker any day!!
Along with a proper sized snooker table too. Hahaha!! 😆
You sound like Steve Davis with a cold 😁
Steve Davis snooker was never bettered on the Speccy, could never get to grips with codemasters pro snooker simulator.
Steve Davis was a good one! Not so good on the Commodore Amiga if I recall.
your highest break is 52!!! you only need 74 to win a frame against the top players . i think you’ve missed a trick
Yeah. I could have been a Snooker bad boy in a bad boy mega world of cash and excess. Oh well. 🤣👍
Snooker management was not exactly a popular genre, and this is quite an average attempt at it.
Yes. Struggling to think of another one 🤔
Certainly didn’t see it down the arcades and kids screaming at their Mum for one last 10p 🤣🤣
Please mum I want to pretend I'm Barry Hearn
Sorry but this looks as boring as hell. Give me Steve Davis snooker any day.
Yes, is an odd thing to make a game out of for sure.
