I never comment on TH-cam but I feel like there is a need for a comment here that is different from the rest. Everyone shits on Talinda for recovering well from her husband’s brutal death. I don’t think a lot of people here went through something like this. She has children, she was a single mom at the time, she had a lot of attention on her, her husband’s family was busy asking for his money, her own son started having depression. As much as it might have hurt she probably didn’t have the time to cry. She had to put her children’s feelings before hers. It’s the same as having a rush of adrenaline. She went on vacancy a month after his passing, and for you it’s because she didn’t care. But the father of her children died in their house, it must’ve been heavy to live in it. They probably needed some time out, some time to relax. Some time thinking about something else. Everyone spends their time accusing Chester’s closed ones and the band of moving on too fast. But those people have cameras on them, asking them to act dramatic, to show their tears. I can’t imagine the pressure of having to perform grief to avoid looking suspicious. The reality of losing someone means that sometimes you’re too drained to even cry. These people don’t owe you their tears just to make everything look more tragic and make you feel comfortable.
She remarried. I’m happy for her. She can have someone to help her raise her children. They didn’t have as much time as their older brothers with their father so I can only wish for them to have a male figure in their lives that can take care of them. It’s not like he’s ever going to replace Chester, but there’s no need to be selfish. He wasn’t just your idol. Her life doesn’t have to be so tragic. So I’m happy for her and for her kids for finding some sense of normalcy again.
And can you guys please stop accusing her of not helping him ? He was a grown man, he was talking about his problems because he OWNED them. He was taking care of himself, like everyone recovering from depression does. A lot of people lose themselves to depression because they think that feeling loved will change their lives. But the reality is that you have to save yourself when you have depression. People can understand you, implore you to stay, if you’re too sick and confused to take that decision on your own, help isn’t going to change that. The only thing someone else can do for you is hold your hand while you heal yourself. He was openly talking about his problems because he thought he was healing.
And maybe he was recovering. Or trying to. But his friend died, and prior to his death he drank. See the thing with mental illnesses is that you are your own prison at some point, and he might have felt alone, or felt like he failed himself by drinking. Who knows really ? No one. But it’s extremely toxic to accuse other people for what’s happening in someone’s head. She couldn’t understand him back then, and was she wrong ? After all everyone thought he was finally handling it. I mean he was laughing the day before, who could’ve known ?? It was just too much for him at the time.
After all she’s done to raise awareness, you come for her to say that she hasn’t done enough ? She’s basically admitting that this tragic event pushed her into educating herself even more. She wants to help people do what her husband couldn’t do. And you come for her ? She already must feel so guilty.
Guys it’s time to stop romanticizing everything. You don’t own Chester. Stop listening to the people in this story who make the most drama. He was a human being, not just your favorite singer. Not everything has to be an episode of Criminal Minds. Those people have feelings and you’re just insulting them and their experiences because you have some savior fantasies. At least for the sake of the kids involved you should just swallow your words and show some respect so they don’t find all these terrible comments all over social media when they’ll be able to use the Internet. It’s still their parents.

In 2016 I heard my first Linkin Park song by chance, it was New Divide. I was 7 years old then. My mother came into the room and said "Oh, that must be Linkin Park!". Then I looked into music on my iPad and actually discovered the “Linkin Park” field. I clicked on it and discovered a couple of songs, for example “Breaking the Habit” or “In the End”. I liked the songs and sometimes I listened to them. Then came July 2017 and the news said, "Chester Bennington hanged himself!" My mother was devastated. I was a little sad, but it wasn't that bad for me as I didn't know who died. I was only 8 years old. But now, at the beginning of 2021, I've rediscovered Linkin Park. I've listened to a couple of albums and it's only now that I realize what a terrible tragedy happened in 2017. Miss u Chaz💗

Living with a person with depression, there is a chance you can get depressed yourself. There are some hellish moments by living with a person with depression. It is not like "he is just sad I should cheer him up" it is like dealing with his emotional rollercoaster. As much as I liked chester, behind closed doors he might have some unstable state and moments which could happen frequently. And Talinda could not handle herself. For some people who think she was just plain cheater while taking care of his kids until now. I hope someday you would experience how to live with depressed people. Depressed people can be kind hearted most angelic human being on earth, but also there are times they can be the most unreasonable person and you cannot easily understand and they could occasionally hurt you without meaning to

@fukachan1412 Yes, it is hard living with depression for either or any person. I have lived with depression myself for so many years (probably my whole life to a degree), but realize that people do not understand those who have it, and depressed people are only trying to reach out to get help, understanding, and all of what they need when they accidentally hurt someone. So I believe it is best to have a strategy of how you can protect yourself physically and what words you can say to communicate healthily and effectively to the person without hurting them, while keeping hope and prayer, and keep loving them. And if you need to move out and you can where the depressed person has someone else who truly knows enough that is about it that they help them, maybe find a different house to live in. Just someone advise from how I see it 💜

omg people just picture yourself in her situation. I too love Chester, for me he was like an angel walking the earth, but he was still human and sometimes living with someone with clinical depression can be hell on earth and many times you just miss those signs that should alarm you. It's not always crystal clear, especially with mental illnesses. I think she handled it admirably and honestly thought that 320 is an amzing campaign and truly honors Chester's life and brings a light to his struggles making a space for people to learn and also trying to erase the stigma. Like she said: Chester wouldn't want to leave them with a burden, especially a shameful one. and I think that was his life message in general.

I don't know if she is being honest or not. I never knew her well, not more than the wife of my favorite singer. Her body language, locked legs, swallowing a lot, speaking with low voice speaks about grief. It's brave to go in front of the camera after such thing. And starting the activity and helping other people. After all, it's what Chester was doing.
People speak about truth. What truth? None of us was in their home, in LP tourbuss, a few met him in person and spoke with Chester. Even his closest friends, guys from the band, his wife says they had no idea, no signs this would happen. So how fans or aside people could CLAIM it was a suicide, or murder, or he was or wasn't depressed?
There are lines not to be crossed by third sides. People love drama so much. Just pay some respect to the man and keep a minute silence. He did more than enough for all of us.

Of course she's not being honest; she would absolutely have been threatened to keep her mouth shut about what really happened... or else. I don't know if you have looked into his autopsy report & heard about one of the police who was at the crime seen? He wouldn't give his name for security reasons but said it was definitely a cover-up. It was never reported that the door he was found h@nging from was 10cm shorter than he was & he also had 3 br0ken ribs; I'm sure you know he & Cornell were working on a project to expose child s3x @buse & name names. It is also very likely his real dad was J0hn P0d3sta, very high up in U.S politics & I've heard he was the 'older family friend' who @bus3d him. If you look at photos, they look almost identical.

    • @DaisyDonahue

@aireswildchild Very true. The best we can do is avoid assumptions like there was some conspiracy involved in his death, and show respect by meaningful moments of mourning, showing love and support to his family, bandmates, friends, and fans, listening to Linkin Park music or any music he made if an individual so desires, and carrying on his legacy of loving patience to fellow human beings we encounter, even if they are causing a problem and we need them to stop.
I had a situation recently on one of Linkin Park's videos in which someone was making assumptions about Chester and causing harm through that and maybe leading other people to make assumptions that were not true on the subject, and I had to draw on the inspiration of Chester's legacy to me to help me have the patience I believe God has been leading me in to respond reasonably calmly and tell the person to stop. Fortunately after some go arounds, they did.

@@Jacqs_T yes and his sister podcast with only 240 views and the local malibu article and Jamie bennington talk about Talinda. These are real witnesses in real life. Talinda let her husband die knowing it. OOPS by the way I have the links but the moment I post them they are taken down such as other videos and it is not some stupid articles it is family from his sister witnessing wet carpets and signs that couldn't be fully out and dead pets as well and his son as well witnessing Talinda hiding the notebook his father wrote for Jamie his 1st child and refusing to give it to them speaks a lot and how she excluded and treated this son and his 1st ex's son speaks a lot about her being involved in this and that she is hiding fishy stuff also when jamie's younger brother cried saying Dad is in danger and he needs us. She insisted to visit chester tomorrow like she already knew what was happening. Signs are clear and with links of his sister's recorded voice, and Jamie live on Instagram and his mother Susan, the autopsy report, and many other things including verified articles from verified and reporters with high reputation who always exposed the law the local malibu.... just it needs a lil bit of research. Sorry but the links such as the videos of other keep taken down so I won't provide them. You can search the local malibu Cece Woods the missing truth about chester bennington death and click her instagram and scroll till 28 November 2020 and you will find a post with a link to the podcast of 1 min with the recorded voice of his sister and read the article and also click the twitter account of who assisted on her report. Also search Jamie Bennington on Instagram and there are other pages such as meet the resistance and chris cornell death on twitter who posted screenshots of people close to Chris Cornell stating that both Chris and Chester were working on the child trafficking project and moreover, jamie calling LP members including Mike as a hypocrite and chester's sister doing the same as well as Samantha referring to that. I love linkin park's music but that doesn't mean I support the agony and hypocrisy as well. The only one I respect in this band is Chester Bennington aside from his career and music. He is a good person and died as a champion on his trials to save children. Back to the main topic.. All these are strong witnesses already. Also the cancelled documentary soon after the death of the 3 chris, chester, avicci. So there is too much evidence, aha even forgot there is a picture of security cameras turned off in chester's room the night he died and susan his mother mentioned that 😔

I have mental health problems, PTSD & Depression. I try to educate people by not being ashamed that I see a therapist & take medication.
I love that you have used Chester's microphone so your children can say what they want to their Dad. It broke my heart when your son said he says via the microphone for his Dad & recently passed dog to show up in his dreams. I really hope that works.
Dreams of loved ones who have passed i think are a way our loved one who have passed can keep them alive in dreams. It was a beautiful, touching idea. Plus reclaiming the room that Chester had passed in. That's very important. I comend for setting up a foundation in Chester's honor 320.
    You are such an inspiration.

@abbycatlover2013 I agree, and you are a brave soul for saying all that without fear of what critics of people who love Chester Bennington might say. I agree about the dreams part and reclaiming the room 💓.
Also I agree that no one should be ashamed if someone they know chooses suicide, or even if an individual themselves chooses it, because most likely no one can relate to or maybe have even witnessed what they have gone through in their life, especially if it happened internally.
We all have pain we go through, we do not know how God would judge it, and no one has the right to act like God by judging someone as shameful for wanting or trying to take their life, especially people who have not been through the experience or at least had a loved that wants to take their life. Those kind of people don't realize that those who desire to take their life are just trying to escape horrible pain that no one should be forced to go through, especially from people in society that cannot connect to their experience or their situation.
      God bless you💕

It has helped so many people through depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and I think self-harm, etc. type situations by letting them know they are not alone and someone cares and hears. I'm shocked at people commenting on her engagement. What business is it of anyone?? People deal with grief and complex feelings in different ways. And if a positive thing happens to come into your life (or was already on the way) what does that matter to the issue at hand? She's clearly still hurting from a major loss and choosing to share and be proactive to try to help others. She also clearly addresses the fact that at the time this happened she didn't know enough about what she could've done. No one ever expects something like this to actually happen.
Suicide is a personal choice, the people in your life don't make you do it, it's something you choose or fall victim to. And other people shouldn't stay stuck in their lives because of it.

@beeburn2880 While I agree that lots of people who have commented on youtube on the Chester Bennington videos don't seem to have an inkling of what he went through and act very wrongly and not realize that people in positions of influence are human and make mistakes like everyone else, some people do understand at least some of what it is like, because they have had depression or other mental health struggles.
I've had depression myself, and when I get upset, angry or frustrated at the way someone is treating Chester or one of his loved ones, I keep myself calm and patient by remembering the kind of person Chester was, and the kind of example he left for me: to love people patiently, instead of expecting them to measure up to a certain standard or look or act a certain way, like many of the people who are attacking Chester do. So I encourage you to use that example he left us to keep your head up and be able to stay about the despair they can get you mired in if you stoop to the level of their nonsense. Chester's speech at his last show is good for doing that 🤗💚🧡❤‍🩹

It scares them ,they just can't understand. They lash out and say your not normal like me. This indeed makes someone with depression hide their feelings more and act like, nothing is wrong. It is horrible to hide your feelings of despair. We do isolate, self medicate, cry alone vomit theses feelings out. No person wants to make others nervous or sad. This depression is awful. It makes you feel sad alone and guilty for having your loved ones have to deal with it.

I'm not sure if you just forgot the fact that for the whole duration of his marriage with Talinda which is 12 years Chester was battling depression and substance abuse (the latter being the reason Samantha divorced him), neither did she leave him nor expose her and his own struggles to the media even after his first suicide attempt (which she tried hard to conceal not to traumatize children). That's the kind of wife she was. And she did not leave him alone at home during his "hardest times"-they were on holiday together with kids and her and he left earlier convincing her he has to return for photoshoots and promoting One More Light. She still did not get married, she is currently engaged. And she only announced engagement in September 2019, which is more than 2 years after Chester's passing away. So your facts and assumptions are wrong. I hate how people jumped on bandwagon of pouring dirt on this woman whom Chester truly loved and cherished. And I have no doubt she loved and cherished him the same way-and only God knows what she went through in their marriage.

I mean I love Chester probably more than anybody commenting here but it’s still been more than 2 years since his passing. Talinda probably started dating a year after which is reasonable or maybe just ran into someone she clicked with, it happens. Being engaged a year later potentially is also something that does happen. So even as a big Chester fan, I don’t see a foul here, little early for most but it’s not like she’s engaged 3 months after he died.

You should watch his interview where he speaks about his birthday-Talinda was home with him, it was his choice to watch tv all day and nap before having family dinner and home made desert-not sure where you get your information from ;) It was his decision to return home from vacation after assuring everyone it's for the morning interviews and photo-shoot. I understand life is easier when you find someone to blame. Same with your allegations about her not talking to her LP family-especially when part of that family spits vile, cruel abuse towards her on every occasion forgetting the fact Chester was happily married to her 10+ years. Talinda expressed all of that very well on her instagram recently. Fortunately she's way more outspoken than some of LP "fans" that come to her page to abuse and ridicule.

Everyone has rewarded her after Chester's death, the truth about her on how to get out or rather NEVER get into depression is: get another person before your partner dies and when he dies marry the person you had already known and that’s how you will never go into depression and more importantly: get rid of guilt in front of people and you will see how you will live very happily helping others because you never felt what others feel ...

That seemed like an answer in response to what she'd like her work to make her kids feel when their older.. what's more worrying is at 1.25 she says well that's part of the story, right?? When asked to explain what happened to Chester. But she's nowhere near as shady and evil than VK..I think this one quickly clicked onto that she had no choice but to shut up and move on. But that other thing..knew all the way what she brought Chris into cos of her money hungry ways and wanting to mix with the wealthy and powerful. And she was at least 4 even 5 months pregnant at their wedding..that's 100% truth.

When she said the best situation possible came out of losing their father, you totally misunderstood her. She just wants to make sure that the *least bad* situation comes out of Chester's passing for her children. She wants to minimize damage. Though she's still very suspicious to me.

You don’t except someone will commit suicide. You comfort yourself with the thought that it will get better, unfortunately most people don’t see the signs and when they do see it it is already too late. I attempted to commit suicide, nobody in my surroundings was expecting this. People with suïcidale tendencies don’t talk about how they want to kill them selves, but you can hear the cries for help if you listen.

Talinda is a very brave woman. No one can make anyone take their medication. He was an adult and it was a decision that Chester made. As heartbroken as so many people are over his passing, we should lift Talinda and her children up. My father remarried 2 days short of 6 months after my mom died. My ex always had a side "chick" during his 5 marriages. That is just how it is. I personally am happy for her. She could have just as easily slipped into a deep depression but she made the choice to find help not only for herself and her children but for anyone who suffers from mental illness. #TeamTalinda

It’s ok if she remarried, she’s allowed to, but there’s many others that just wouldn’t do that… sometimes the fact that you can’t or won’t move on is because you’re still deeply in love with them, and honestly, that’s normal! 🙏🏻

I get that Chester left but he had depression and you signed up for that. You signed up for the chance of suicide when you married him. A lot of people say what business is it but it’s about respect.. that was supposed to be a proper bond, love, so for ten years and daughters etc seems too soon, disrespectful

These comments are fucking gross and it’s very clear that none of you have ever lost your partner or father, mother (in my case), sister or brother to suicide before. How she’s talking is completely fine and being “disconnected” as some of you are accusing of her of when you’re speaking of that person who committed suicide and trying to hold it together for a minute so you don’t burst into tears when speaking of what happened is normal. You’re all appalling, but I guess that’s expected from TH-cam’s comment section.

Stop bullshitting and leave the woman. None of you knows a thing about what she is going through. She is educating herself and many others, she is taking proactive steps to raise mental awareness, to stop the global stigma of mentally ill people, that it is okay to not be okay. Some of you calling this a shit, but exactly this issue made your beloved singer's life full of pain, lost battles, and endless struggles.
Instead of sharing the thoughts, supporting this non-commercial movement, you are spreading gossip awareness, and you are judging a woman, whom you do not even know in person. Even if you'd know, you really think that if she survived the loss, she has to drown herself in pain and repeat the heartbreaking thing of July 2017?? And never allow herself to feel alive, care for her children, feel the support and love??? Then, I may conclude you never get the idea of Chester's music and for what he was fighting for.
