So awesome. I love that they left the parts in where Momo struggled with her words, and Su and Moa were so patient with her. They gave her a look of encouragement, she composed herself and finished what she wanted to say. It was so real and authentic. It didn't make Momo look bad. It came across as endearing and charming. She doesn't have as much experience at this as Su and Moa. But she will get better and better. I loved every minute of it ❤🦊

The humility in Moa's response is still there. Never grown old. You can tell also through Su's answer and enthusiasm. I am very happy of Momo now that her dream is coming to life; touring and performing around the world with BM. Yui, we miss you but your legacy lives on with them always. 😊
Moa is right - I was twelve when I discovered Babymetal (in 2014) and it ignited my love for music. I adore them, so much, they're my favourite band in the world. I saw then with Sabaton in April (I wasn't old enough to go in 2020), and I adore Momoko, and I absolutely cannot wait to see them in December! They work so hard and they deserve the world.
If there was a sacred sanctuary of Fox God, Moa would certainly be its keeper. She has always shown so much passion and respect for Babymetal' concept (on stage and at interviews).
Only recently became a fan of BABYMETAL, and saw them in Houston. It is now a goal in my life to see them in a big area show in Japan! Also, I never thought I'd hear someone say that performing in an open air venue in the Florida heat and humidity would be "refreshing"! These girls are hardcore!
It's easy to forget that Su and Moa not only have 9 years of experience on stage over Momo, but also concerning handling themselves in interviews. Su and Moa (and Yui) have all been flustered by a certain situation or question during an interview at one time in the past. Momoko now has to hit the ground running in that sense, so to speak. I love how Su and Moa look at her as if to say: "It's OK, relax, you've got this."
She had 3 years of experience in Sakura Gakuin before she joined Babymetal. She was known as the funny girl who always flubbed her lines and messed up her joke deliveries. Which just made her more funny.
They used to say they are maybe more nervous for interviews, because they have a lot more experience and very prepared to be performing on stage. Interviews they don't do as much.

That plus her infamous Nendo Tests. This IS the same girl who auditioned for Kep1er by playing Blackpink on a kazoo. She's nuts and I love her!

uh, she's not that great. Yet. She fumbled in her replies, multiple times. She needs more training, although she's always been kinda forgetful, even before her time in BABYMETAL. But that side-eye Su gave her at her final fumble 😵😅

On the same boat as you brother. I´m 50, what drag me into metal was Live After Dead 85 VHS from Iron Maiden, and I must say that, besides IM and Metallica, nothing made me feel energized like Babymetal did, its almost spiritual :)
I was at the Babyklok show in NYC in September. I had gone for Dethklok, and had never listened to BABYMETAL before. They absolutely blew my mind. What really stood out to me was the energy from the fans. The whole Hammerstein crowd was going bananas. Amazing experience, and I've been listening to them for a month solid now.
As a long time metal head from way way back, I was burned out and disappointed with the direction metal went in the 90s. Babymetal got me back into metal and music in general. Their music, choreography and upbeat attitudes are really refreshing. They're the best thing to happen to metal in a long long time.
The bond they’ve developed is the most adorable and wholesome thing I’ve ever seen. Momo has worked so hard for this and Su and Moa encouraging her when she was unsure of what else to say is absolutely wholesome🥰
They made me love music again. Went through some things, stopped writing music and listening as much. I recently discovered Babymetal and the connection I feel to their music is something I haven't felt in a long time. I adore them. Words cant express how thankful I am to Babymetal for bringing that spark back into my life!
I can agree with you. They came along into my life when music wasn’t really in my life anymore. They brought music back to me and for this they will be one of my absolute favorite bands. And luckily I was able to interview them 2 times and that just solidified my appreciation for them by seeing how much they loved what they were doing. Their passion reignited mine.
Momo is pretty much Su and Moa's kid now. She's like if you combined the two's personalities together. It's really sweet they're so supportive of her during the falters in her speech.

Yes I agree! Of course she also has her own distinct traits, but some parts of her personality are a combination of Su & Moa. I think that just shows how she was destined to be in this group. She still feels nervous since this is her first video interview overseas, but I think when she gets more comfortable we will get to see more of her personality :)

She's just as bubbly and smiley as Moa on stage (possibly even more so, which I didn't even know was humanly possible), and she, like Su, has this kinda unique quirky personality type where she says/does things only she understands, but people around her don't really get it (ie: her comedy). I'm sure she fits extremely well into the banter they've got behind the scenes.

Momoko is quite capable of playing to a script, improvising, and speaking on the fly (all in one show), so she legit was super nervous here. You can't really blame her since I'm pretty sure this is her first American interview while Moa & Su have 9 years of experience dealing with Western press. That alligator comment is trademark Momoko 😂
What a nice interview. It was nice to see the ladies given a little more free reign to speak their minds. Moa’s very typically Japanese and humble answers were very nice, downplaying just how huge they are and what pioneers for female Japanese metal, and you could also say female metal, Japanese music or just the whole metal genre they have become. Momoko was absolutely adorable. As she’s still new to being a full member, you can see how nervous, but happy and excited she is. Her little “rabbit in the headlights” moment and the looks of support from Su and Moa was such a nice moment. Momoko is clearly everything the band needed and is a perfect fit. That’s a combination of her natural ability and personality, but also the fact that she worked her butt off to earn that role from the avenger days. She didn’t just fall into the role. She worked damn hard and became a favourite with the fans who could see the effort she was putting in. It’s fantastic to see her hard work paying off and to see her clearly having the time of her life. Go Momoko!

Finally got to see them this year after almost a decade of not getting my schedule to sink with theirs. Was fantastic. One of the few acts I want to go see again. Only Nightwish and Rage Against the Machine have instilled that desire in me before. Worth every penny.

I did not think it was possible for them to be even more humble and genuine than I already thought, but they proved me wrong! Momo's hesitation in answering shows just how unscripted this was and was my favorite part of this interview. Can't wait to see them again soon!

The sweetest young women in showbusiness. It’s no wonder everyone who has ever met them love them. Also, they all pretty much understand English but answering in Japanese eliminates misunderstandings which is fair enough.
These three may be the hardest working artists in show business. They deserve all the praise and accolades they recieve. They've brought a lot of music and love into the world!!

It was absolutely amazing! I've been waiting since 2014 to see Babymetal live and I was not disappointed. I've been to a lot of shows but this was the best show I've ever been to!!! I'm so thrilled I was able to attend❤

Welcome! Personally I’ve been a fan of BabyMetal since 2013 and they seem to be getting more and more amazing. I did this interview and meeting them was amazing!
I love how much they keep maturing through the years. You can see how much love they have for their craft and so aware and appreciative of everything it brings. Su and moa really shows the large amount of experience they had from the band. I'm so glad to see Momo adjusting nicely and enjoying the performances they do, she'll have more experiences in the future and I can't wait to see more of her growth.(though she's already very capable now)
The show was great and I really felt old seeing all the young people waiting in line. !! I'm 76 and probably was the oldest one there. I got balcony seats because I knew the floor was going to be a zoo.......and I was right. It was nice to see some of my YT favorite reactors there. I've been following BM for about 6 or 7 years now and they've become a real force.
@@deacon45 It was the same thing when I went to see Band Maid three times between October 2022 and August 2023. But it was well worth it. I'm hanging on to see Wagakki Band when they come here again, among other groups, SCANDAL and Glim Spanky in particular.
Momo lost for words, the support from Su and Moa, is perfect Babymetal, Momo is a perfect fit and so adorable. They connect with everyone as a trio ,and their songs are uplifting and crazy fun! just like the girls and Kami Band.
Just caught a really interesting interview with Korn's tour manager talking about Babymetal. Not often you get that kind of backstage access. However it really brings to light how word gets around here. It's an interesting perspective coming from within the industry. I really wish we got more of these days. So hearing more media exposure now is justification for all their hard work. Anyways my first exposure to Babymetal was actually through Takayoshi Ohmura. Who plays in Marty Friedman's band. Kinda blew my mind when i discovered this. That one of the Kami Band's lead guitarists has direct personnel connections to a Megadeath legend. Ladies are just full of suprises here!! I finally got to see them in Vegas with Dethklok. Which was f*** unreal. So much better live then i was expecting here. Totally worth my time & money spent. I spent this entire video looking for myself because I was about 5th on line to get in from about 9:30am ... (yes, it's all about me lol) ... but being at the rail it was the greatest show of my life. At one point Momo smiled at me and my knees started to shake and I damn near fell down.

I've been a fan of Momoko's since her final year in Sakura Gakuin (2017) so I can say it's very difficult for Momoko to NOT be herself -- she's a happy-pill, a comedienne at heart, and cares A LOT about the quality of her stage work.
Just got done watching Joe, Alan, and Eric talking about this interview. Have watched multiple videos of the Kingslayer live collaboration, and am beyond thrilled for these amazing young ladies and the incredible year that they have had. Seeing them live myself was like a dream now, and I am anxiously awaiting their future activities. They mean the world to me.
I LOVE Babymetal! Been listening to them for a couple of years now. This coming from a person that has listened to thrash metal, death metal, and other various kinds of metal for 45+ years.
Its not about being first or the most famous but being unique and then withstand the test of time. Every genre has legends but there are legends that transcends genres
well this is certainly a surprise, but a very welcome one, love to see BABYMETAL doing interviews, i shall definitely spend the rest of my night enjoying the amazing experience that is BABYMETAL, again, and many more times after that, best band to ever exist if you ask me.

Back in 2016 my daughter went to her first babymetal concert. She was 6. A great age to go to a babymetal concert. We won’t get to see them this time because they are t playing locally and she can’t miss school this time as she is now in high school, but we did see them in LA in 2019 and hope to see them when they tour again.

I love these ladies and it is so great to watch the videos and see their career evolving. It's an amazing story. I finally got to see them live in Wallingford, CT, and it was a thrill. I had tears in my eyes when they first came out on stage. This is a good interview, the ladies are very diplomatic as well as thoughtful and well spoken.
And as usual, Moa's eyes are glued to Su's hair! It's cute how Momo is still learning the art of the interview. She'll nail it. It just takes experience.

As a long time metal head from way way back, I was burned out and disappointed with the direction metal went in the 90s. Babymetal got me back into metal and music in general. Their music, choreography and upbeat attitudes are really refreshing. They're the best thing to happen to metal in a long long time.

I recently discovered Babymetal and the connection I feel to their music is something I haven't felt in a long time. I adore them. Words cant express how thankful I am to Babymetal for bringing that spark back into my life!
I can agree with you. They came along into my life when music wasn’t really in my life anymore. They brought music back to me and for this they will be one of my absolute favorite bands. And luckily I was able to interview them 2 times and that just solidified my appreciation for them by seeing how much they loved what they were doing. Their passion reignited mine.
Momo is pretty much Su and Moa's kid now. She's like if you combined the two's personalities together. It's really sweet they're so supportive of her during the falters in her speech.
You'd think, but "baby" Momoko was just really shy because she's not at all used to such interviews while Su & Moa have been doing these Western press junkets since at least 2015. Momoko is a massive goofball and chaos agent
Yes I agree! Of course she also has her own distinct traits, but some parts of her personality are a combination of Su & Moa. I think that just shows how she was destined to be in this group. She still feels nervous since this is her first video interview overseas, but I think when she gets more comfortable we will get to see more of her personality :)

She's just as bubbly and smiley as Moa on stage (possibly even more so, which I didn't even know was humanly possible), and she, like Su, has this kinda unique quirky personality type where she says/does things only she understands, but people around her don't really get it (ie: her comedy). I'm sure she fits extremely well into the banter they've got behind the scenes.
Been waiting for this and wasn't disappointed. They've gone past becoming Super Ladies, they are Super Legends 🌸🤘🏼

@@Zedem0n You never saw her in their former group Sakura Gakuin, then. Momoko is quite capable of playing to a script, improvising, and speaking on the fly (all in one show), so she legit was super nervous here.
You can't really blame her since I'm pretty sure this is her first American interview while Moa & Su have 9 years of experience dealing with Western press. That alligator comment is trademark Momoko 😂

What a nice interview. It was nice to see the ladies given a little more free reign to speak their minds. Moa’s very typically Japanese and humble answers were very nice, downplaying just how huge they are and what pioneers for female Japanese metal, and you could also say female metal, Japanese music or just the whole metal genre they have become.
Momoko was absolutely adorable. As she’s still new to being a full member, you can see how nervous, but happy and excited she is. Her little “rabbit in the headlights” moment and the looks of support from Su and Moa was such a nice moment. Momoko is clearly everything the band needed and is a perfect fit. That’s a combination of her natural ability and personality, but also the fact that she worked her butt off to earn that role from the avenger days. She didn’t just fall into the role. She worked damn hard and became a favourite with the fans who could see the effort she was putting in. It’s fantastic to see her hard work paying off and to see her clearly having the time of her life. Go Momoko!
Thank you for your amazing comment and I aloud the interview to breath and I left in all the natural moments even my slip up when I was asking about being back in the same venue. Momo was simply adorable and I can see why the fans are embracing her.

Finally got to see them this year after almost a decade of not getting my schedule to sink with theirs. Was fantastic. One of the few acts I want to go see again. Only Nightwish and Rage Against the Machine have instilled that desire in me before.
Worth every penny.

I did not think it was possible for them to be even more humble and genuine than I already thought, but they proved me wrong! Momo's hesitation in answering shows just how unscripted this was and was my favorite part of this interview. Can't wait to see them again soon!

The sweetest young women in showbusiness. It’s no wonder everyone who has ever met them love them. Also, they all pretty much understand English but answering in Japanese eliminates misunderstandings which is fair enough.

Welcome! Personally I’ve been a fan of BabyMetal since 2013 and they seem to be getting more and more amazing. I did this interview and meeting them was amazing!
I love how much they keep maturing through the years. You can see how much love they have for their craft and so aware and appreciative of everything it brings. Su and moa really shows the large amount of experience they had from the band. I'm so glad to see Momo adjusting nicely and enjoying the performances they do, she'll have more experiences in the future and I can't wait to see more of her growth.(though she's already very capable now)

The show was great and I really felt old seeing all the young people waiting in line. !! I'm 76 and probably was the oldest one there. I got balcony seats because I knew the floor was going to be a zoo.......and I was right. It was nice to see some of my YT favorite reactors there. I've been following BM for about 6 or 7 years now and they've become a real force.
I know how you feel. I'm 78 and when I went to see MItzki a couple years ago, I wear I was the only person over forty in that crowd!
@@deacon45 It was the same thing when I went to see Band Maid three times between October 2022 and August 2023. But it was well worth it. I'm hanging on to see Wagakki Band when they come here again, among other groups, SCANDAL and Glim Spanky in particular.
Momo lost for words, the support from Su and Moa, is perfect Babymetal, Momo is a perfect fit and so adorable. They connect with everyone as a trio ,and their songs are uplifting and crazy fun! just like the girls and Kami Band.
Just caught a really interesting interview with Korn's tour manager talking about Babymetal. Not often you get that kind of backstage access. However it really brings to light how word gets around here.
It's an interesting perspective coming from within the industry. I really wish we got more of these days. So hearing more media exposure now is justification for all their hard work.
Anyways my first exposure to Babymetal was actually through Takayoshi Ohmura. Who plays in Marty Friedman's band. Kinda blew my mind when i discovered this.
That one of the Kami Band's lead guitarists has direct personnel connections to a Megadeath legend. Ladies are just full of suprises here!!
I finally got to see them in Vegas with Dethklok. Which was f*** unreal. So much better live then i was expecting here. Totally worth my time & money spent. Thank you for covering this story here!! 🤘🦊🔥

I spent this entire video looking for myself because I was about 5th on line to get in from about 9:30am ... (yes, it's all about me lol) ... but being at the rail it was the greatest show of my life. At one point Momo smiled at me and my knees started to shake and I damn near fell down.

I'd say, Babymetal changed mine and many other people's lives. Since NYC in 2014, my life has never been the same. The Babymetal fandom community is one of a kind and I'm honored and proud to be a part of it. From it, I've made the best friends I've ever had. We've traveled to places we never thought we'd visit. Made friends around the world! We all have this connection to what Babymetal's message is in their music. Uplifting, encouraging, happy, festive metal music that is very VERY much needed in this dark world we live in. Babymetal equals Love. Metal Love! You bring people of all ages and backgrounds together as The One. And THAT'S why we love Babymetal.

I've been a fan of Momoko's since her final year in Sakura Gakuin (2017) so I can say it's very difficult for Momoko to NOT be herself -- she's a happy-pill, a comedienne at heart, and cares A LOT about the quality of her stage work.
Just got done watching Joe, Alan, and Eric talking about this interview. Have watched multiple videos of the Kingslayer live collaboration, and am beyond thrilled for these amazing young ladies and the incredible year that they have had. Seeing them live myself was like a dream now, and I am anxiously awaiting their future activities. They mean the world to me.
I LOVE Babymetal! Been listening to them for a couple of years now. This coming from a person that has listened to thrash metal, death metal, and other various kinds of metal for 45+ years.
Its not about being first or the most famous but being unique and then withstand the test of time. Every genre has legends but there are legends that transcends genres

Back in 2016 my daughter went to her first babymetal concert. She was 6. A great age to go to a babymetal concert. We won’t get to see them this time because they are t playing locally and she can’t miss school this time as she is now in high school, but we did see them in LA in 2019 and hope to see them when they tour again.
Thank you for sharing I have been lucky to have interviewed these very sweet ladies 2 times and see them 2 times. Took my daughter to her first show last month and she is totally a fan now. 🤘😁

I love these ladies and it is so great to watch the videos and see their career evolving. It's an amazing story. I finally got to see them live in Wallingford, CT, and it was a thrill. I had tears in my eyes when they first came out on stage. This is a good interview, the ladies are very diplomatic as well as thoughtful and well spoken.
