Honor Blackman (Pussy Galore) was the Co-Star of a very Popular Spy TV show in the UK called the Avengers, She played Cathy Gale who teamed up with John Steed (Patrick McNee). She left the role of Cathy Gale to do this movie and was replaced by Diana Rigg (who later appears in the Bond Film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"). Later in the Avengers series John Steed gets a Christmas Card from Cathy Gale and comments "What ever is she doing at Fort Knox?". Harold Sakata (Oddjob) was an Actor and a Professional Wrestler.
I've heard so much about Goldfinger before and after seeing it. Earliest peak of the franchise, the phenomenon within the phenomenon, the OG blockbuster, etc. It definitely has a great story, theme song, dialogue, villains, girls, action, danger and sexiness. Theaters staying open 24 hrs just to keep the crowds pleased. All the brands of clothes, cars, cologne or anything connected to 007 selling like crazy. I believe it all. Anybody with a brain or love for this stuff would believe it too.
I'm so glad you 2 are back to Bond finishing up the franchise as you're never funnier than when you're making quips about this series. I especially enjoyed the back and forth about whether Felix and the population of Fort Knox suffered the fate of the nerve gas...hilarious! Hendo is so good at getting Dean going!...lmao
The "man talk" bit is priceless. He really was like that too. He gave an interview that's around here somewhere talking openly about smacking his wife around, and how she needs it to know when to shut up. LOL
Bullion Blvd and Gold Vault Rd are the actual names of the roads next to the vault. Bullion is the main entrance road to Ft Knox, and Gold Vault runs perpendicular off of it to the vault itself.
Fun fact: the tune you hear playing when he discovers the chicks body covered in gold on the bed was sampled by Sneakerpimps for the song 6 underground
I'd love to point out to James Bond fans that Delta-9 isn't a nerve gas but in reality is the chemical formula term for marijuana. So much cheese has been layered in this movie it might as well be a cheesecake. Only incredible moments in the film was Goldfingers line "No Mr.Bond I expect you to die" and Shirley Bassett holding that last note in her intro song. And the introduction of the Aston Martin DB5.

Gert Fröbe played Goldfinger brilliantly. He is my favorite Bond villain.
Either "Fröbe" or "Froebe" (in case you don't have an "ö" key) but not "Frobe".
Otherwise that would lead to a massive mispronunciation. 🙂
