I always thought that i was doing it wrong by just instinctively not being overly inclined to use a lot of layers. I obviously understood more and more when it’s absolutely necessary, but I’m also one of those overly type A personalities and I’m learning slowly to let go more, and not over perfectionist my work.

Yes! So great to get a little “messy” with digital art. I enjoy not worrying about the technical side of things when I can.
