    T gauge looks to be the way to go for those tight with space and small sized layouts. People are working on slow speed issues.

    Zz scale
    Z scale
    Tt scale
    T scale. But t gauge isn't the smallest
    There's one below that called nano trains.
    Line t scale is 3mm
    Nano trains is 1.5mm width.

    I wonder about the feasibility of 3D printed T scale. You would for sure need a resin printer of course, FDM is not gonna cut it. (Or print it, in this case.)
