Mari Dew’s POLAR PLUNGE!!!

Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 (2 weeks after the Alpena Polar Plunge)
I had to wait for the weather to cooperate, given the swirling and turbulent nature of the bay last week after the freak storm that rolled in on Wednesday Feb 28th…but by Saturday, the bay calmed and it was time to plunge! Despite the sunshine, I assure you that the bay water has not yet warmed up…it was COLD!
But it was awesome.
