Hey bud, while I like to help as best I can. I'm not sure which Jansport bag you are referring too. However, You can't go wrong at all with converse. I've just bought a Cons messenger bag! Lol It would be plenty big enough to fit everything in you need for high school though. I wouldn't worry about that at all.

Is the compartment big enough for a normal 15.6 inch laptop?
Hi Bud, I think the compartment should fit a 15.6-inch laptop. It's a decent size backpack without being too big and bulky.

So it has 2 main compartments ? And 2 front compartments and 2 water bottle compartments? I need your advice . I am comparing this against Nike elemental backpack . Which one you think is better quality and use wise
It has one main compartment which is divided in to two. A zip compartment on the front. A front pouch and 2 water bottle pouches.
