Creo Parametric Basic Tutorial || Sheet Metal

- In this tutorial, we will learn about the basic techniques related to ‘Sheet Metal’ functionality of ‘Creo Parametric’ by modelling a Cover.
In the creation process of this model, we will start our work by creating some basic sketches utilising the constrains and dimensions.
Next, we will use the Extrude Tool to create our first feature and use the same to remove some material from the model. Later we will use Flange Tool and take the help of ‘Mirror Tool’ to duplicate the Extrude Cut and Flange feature to the other side of the sheet. Then we will create another Flange that will also be mirrored to the other side as well. A Flat feature will be added next that will be bend along a line. Moving ahead we will unbend a previously created flange to remove some material from the model and then it would be bend back. Again a Flat feature at an angle of 75° will be created… Now we will create a corner between both the visible walls by using the Extend Tool along with a gap of 0.1 mm. So at the last, we will create the Flat Pattern of the model. Next to place the flat pattern and solid model of the part in the drawing sheet we will use Family Table.
Next, we will create a drawing file and put the Flat Pattern part in it along with Bend Lines… and export the drawing sheet to a PDF file…

In creo 4, I try to MIRROR the 1st set of flanges and it fails. I have watched it a number of times, doing same settings and it wont let me complete the mirroring.
I just want to point out that it is a good practice to Erase unneeded datums from the drawing rather than deleting them, since deleting them can remove them from the main model and cause errors.

My doubt is why didnt you directly start with the planar & flanges instead of extrude? Why everytime specifiying sketch when you can utilise default flat/flanges.

good, but I'm facing problem at radius bend on corner for flat or Flange. There is too much gap between those bend. for example bowl corner of radius 25 mm. I solve it manually by practice is any trick for that.
@ 10:23 I'm not able to select two edges as you did in the video, in the flange option. If try to hold control, the edge reference is not showing up. What should I do?
I got it now by holding shift and selecting multiple edges.

Spoken words would have been helpful, but you paused at the right screens for me to be able to point out what you did for each feature. I was trying to figure out how to create an edge flange on PART of an edge instead of the whole thing, and this showed me how.

what about dimensions in drawing
i am fresher now in this design field so how i can make company's model design for practices and how to make my carrier in this field i don't have any sheetmetal models for practice. so you have any website where i will download some models.
You should practice on sheet metal and spend some time working with software. thanks for that its help full for me but its compulsory one designer knows everything means modelig drafting and analysis i do know the analysis if you give me suggestion for the analysis practice then i will do that also.

I had the same problem. I was able to select multiple edges by clicking "Details" and selecting multiple references.
after selecting the first edge, press shift and then select the next edge. it will become a chain.
