The best way to play faster is to practise very slow with the metronome.
Just begin with a few measures and play faster step-by-step. Write down the metronome number so you can see your progression. Use always the same fingering and try to make no mistakes.

Yes it’s in both books. Adult level 3. Children version level 6.
