I'm in the Swedish military and I would say that I think we are somewhat progressing in the right direction however Swedish FMV ( Swedish Defence Materiel Administration ) are developing uniforms and other things for pregnant women. When I joined the Armed Forces in 1981 we did not even have female soldiers ( Sweden were and still is partially a conscription army ) it took til late 80's until females could voluntarily ask to do military service. Well well enough of that, glad that there are some progression, we still have long way to go to make it as easy for them as for us men. Ps. I assume you're also a Afghanistan vet by your name. I've done 3 full tours, 2 in Mazar-E-Sharif and one in Kabul unless af stands for Air Force ;)

And special tailored armoured vests should probably also be a thing. I read some years ago about how female police are in greater danger because they get issued the same vests as men but because of the breasts the vests tend to ride up and expose the upper part of the belly and then they are more vulnerable to knife attacks. Idk if military vests have the same issue (and you don't knife fight in a war) but for stuff you wear it usually makes sense to have them tailored differently for women than for men.

I know these things happen but I very strongly suggest that you should use birthcontrol until your out of there. You need to be eating a good diet & staying in a safe place. Take prenatal vitamins. Be sure not to let yourself be exposed to poisonous gas or chemicals. That goes for gunshot wounds too. I hope you have a desk job & are not seeing much action...

U.S army has had prego uniforms for a long time. Usually a garrison thing cause pregnant women in combat is not how the U.S rolls.
