Congrats! There are enough channels that do elecrronics teardown/repair and enough channels that do software analysis, but what I love about your channel is the combination of electronics teardowns and firmware extraction/analysis.
It's kind of ridiculous that Louis was one of the first people I saw who did board repair. And now I see someone who was inspired as well, and shares amazing ways to tear down / understand our own devices beyond a hardware perspective. Thank you for building on how Louis started and teaching us more.
Well done! I subscribed a few months ago because I work with software security and not hardware (and have always sucked at hardware), you have really taught me alot. And if I venture into hardware security in the future you will have a lot of credit for getting me there. Thank you Matt!
Congrats for having put in the work and recognizing Louis! Am I the only one that feels disappointed you did not even try to do a firmware extraction on the Play button?! At least take the time to show us what kind of flash chip they're using! lol Thanks for taking the time to keep us entertained! Well done!
Congratulations! I'll never do pen testing, but I do like to see how things work and you get right there to the heart of it. I assumed, given how specific your content is, this was a pretty small channel. I never really looked. I remember all the years it took for Dave Jones to get to 100,000. And I totally agree with you that Lewis Rossman is a hero. It's interesting that with so many TH-cam videos made and so many TH-camrs, many of the people who I watched seem to watch each other. Excelsior!
Congrats on the 100k++ Matt! As a longtime Louis Rossmann subscriber, I’m surprised I only discovered your channel in the past week. The synergies are clear-longform content FTW!
Congratulations Matt! I'm a new sub with absolutely no experience/knowledge about the subjects you explain in your videos but still find them really fascinating and entertaining to watch! Keep up the good work you do.
i would love to see a video about a cable TV box that has DVR capabilities. Like, How to mod it to be just a network video player. That's something i've always wanted to do. I've never seen or heard anyone else ever mention anything like that. I come across old TV boxes all the time at flea markets and yard sales. I always think "that would be cool if i could play movies from the mini-dlna server on my LAN."
Matt, your are awesome. In each of your videos you have blown my mind, taught me something totally new. So THANK YOU. Also please never stop these long deep-dive series style videos. Also shout out to Louis, he does inspire and instill hope.
Congrats, man! I stumbled here from the LPR video and I'm interested to see what all you create and go through some old videos. I've been interested in getting into pen testing, and would love to get into the OT/IOT sector more specifically, and your channel looks like a great resource for inspiration.
Congratulations! I think the channel content is great and hope that you continue. Your focus on firmware extraction and analysis is fairly unique here and is very welcome.
Dude, that is well deserved. The way you make videos makes idiots like me understand how things are connected. I pick up something new in almost all your videos. Hope you continue for many years.
I changed my router because of what I saw on your channel and got some great ideas and work practices from watching your videos. So thank YOU for your willingness to take the extra time to make great videos. Congratulations!
I found your channel a few weeks ago and binged a bunch of older videos. Its both comical and concerning how daft some of the flaws in these devices are, and fascinating to watch. I had a gadget in bits the other day and spotted an unpopulated spot for a 4-pin header - now I know what that's for 😁
Congratulations Matt! I'm glad I discovered your channel. You expanded my tool set by introducing me to Frida. Have used it to solve 2 different reverse engineering projects so far. I would really love for you to go indepth teaching Ghida next.
Holy shit man I had no idea you've grown so fast!! Last time I checked your channel, and it wasn't even that long ago, you had like 80k subs. Glad you're finally getting some of the recognition you deserve!
Congrats on the 100k👍 You have put the time and effort in to making good content and it shows. Short form is for initial channel growing viral moments, long form is for long term stability and stable channel growth. Keep doing what you do.
I’m not even a “hacker” but your videos are really cool and make me keep learning more. I worked as a testing manager at a dell downstream vendor and ITAD place, love hardware. Went into crypto mining after that. Love GPU’s. Thanks for keeping my interest alive!
Hi. I do research in physics. I love your videos. I know the basics of networking, as well as several programming languages and I do design electronics as well (including PCBs). Thank you for all your videos. Looking forward to the Verizon ONT series!
Congrats 🎉, and you are correct people like me don't watch TikTok or TH-cam shorts, I still believe you can't learn anything in 1 min videos and I stay away from it.
Congrats! A quick question not directly related to your subscriber accomplishment, but related to what you do. As someone who does some embedded development (ESP32) as a hobby, I'd like to be better at making the stuff I put on my Wi-Fi network less vulnerable to external hacking. Where is a good place I can get info on design philosophy and techniques to learn how to do more robust IOT development? Thanks and again, congratulations.
Congrats man! Well deserved
you watch matt too?
Nice to see you here !
Woah you watch this channel
based crossover
Dang hh? good job matt!
Looking forward to the firmware dump of that silver button.
Congrats! You introduced me to firmware extractions :)
Lets get Louis to see this video! Congrats on the 1(40)k Matt, well deserved!

You earned it Matt! Thanks for all the IoT hacking videos! Keep em coming.
Have you taken the back of the button and looked for UART?
Congratulations on the 100k, and great channel.
Congrats, it's well deserved. Maybe it's time to start thinking about branded merch, like some pens.
Congrats man. You earned it. Killer content and format. Hack the planet!!
