- In this video we provide you some insights into the creation process of the 2D Stringart “Psy Galaxy” as part of our own brand PSYWORK. Firstly, we show you preparatory steps like cutting the wooden strips as well as gluing and screwing them together. Secondly, the stapling and driving of nails in the wood follows as one of the most important tasks. As soon as the string art motive is tacked, the wooden frame is additionally varnished and in our case we spray-paint it with black varnish. Finally, the black light wool is mounted on the frame fibre for fibre using the prior fixed nails until the motive and, thus, the string art is finished.

Welche Fäden hast du genutzt ?
@@leongashi5566 Das ist schon 6 Jahre her, aber du kannst einfach zum Müller gehen und dort Neon-farbene Wollfäden verwenden, also das hab ich zumindest gemacht :)

Hello, we use weed with 22x22mm and the distance between the nails is 20mm.

kommt die Symmetrie denn einfach so zu Stande oder habt ihr da was bestimmtes beachtet, berechnet oder vor gezeichnet ? Liebe grüße
Berechnet oder vorgezeichnet sind unsere Motive nicht. Aber wir bauen die Motive meist so das sie eine Symmetrie ergeben, einfach weil die Effekte dann besser wirken.

Darf ich fragen wie breit das Holz ist und in welchen Abständen werden die Nägel gesetzt? :)
Die Holzleisten selber sind 22mm und die ganze Stringart ergibt dann 90x90cm. Die Nägel werden im Abstand von 2cm gesetzt.
This is an amazing art work. The color combination is awesome. How were u able to achieve such color with strings? what are those strings and what kind of light is used to make them glow?
The Strings are made with wool ( schwarzlicht.de/Materialien-Wolle.html ) or those textile strings ( schwarzlicht.de/Materialien-Schnuere-Textilschnur.html ). The strings have special neon colors which glow under blacklight or uv light. Some technics you can find here schwarzlicht.de/Technik.html

how can it switch the color ??
Our special wool is glowing under blacklight. The uv light makes the white wool in blue and the yellow in light green. Every color has your special effect under blacklight. Here you can see all colors schwarzlicht.de/Materialien-Wolle.html

Ich habe mir uv wolle bestellt und werde mich mal drann bersuchen, allerdings mache ich nicht nur einen Holzrahmen sondern nehme eine ganze platte die ich schwarz male damit man es als Bild gut aufhängen kann :)
Ist es sehr wichtig an welchen stellen man genau die "richtung wechselt"? Also sprich ab dem wievielten nagel man zurück geht?
