Brasso for brass. My grandad used to use it on a pair of candlesticks. I am now over 70, using brasso (not the same tin!) and they look good as new. You just can't beat a good bit of hand rubbing to bring it up. Love the vids. Stay safe. Regards.

Hello Heidi - greetings from Poland. The Llangollen Canal - one of my favourites. 4 locks up. I loved "Stiff Ripples" that played as you negotiated the flight with Jacquie's help.. I was amazed just how many boats were coming down the locks, whilst what appeared to be only you going up. I hope you and your friends had a successful trade together. That "Pink Stuff" really works. Your videos are so informative, I am watching them in order. If you need information on boating the canals and like me, don't have a clue where to start, this is the channel. Much appreciated to both of you.
Might I suggest that next time you're inspecting inside your box that you take something battery powered to buff it with. Something fluffy wrapped around a strongly oscillating tool would speed things up and get you where you're going in no time. I believe you had something suitable in another vlog when you were touching up your front end to get a shine on it. 👍
There's a product called nevr-dull its a tin can with chemical infused cotton inside it's the best product I have seen for cleaning brass or silver. It's relatively cheap give give it a whirl

next time you are at the shops, look out for DURAGLIT - that is what I use to polish metals. The Pink Stuff will get a lot of the grime off, but in my experience, duraglit can't be beaten. Loving the vlogs.
