- The 1999 Edition of the PBA All-Star game is said to be one of the best All-star game ever played, and it became more of a personal battle for the Veterans team of homegrown talents in proving to be better than the Fil-Americans, when the emergence of Fil-Ams dominating the league was a hot topic that year.

Isa sa mga pinaka interesting na all star game ever. Rsj vs vets. But in reality Fil Am/Sham vs. Locals talaga ito. Parang naging National Team yung vets against a team of imports. :-)
Parang bumabalik ako sa pagkabata pag pinanood ko muli ang mga lumang patalastas. Maraming salamat po sa pag-upload nitong entire recorded presentation samakatuwid masisilayan at dudumugin 'to ng mga viewers araw-araw. More to come and keep it up po ... 👍

After this much-awaited special all-star game and shortly right before "Sinemaks", I think there was a short-seconder SID of VTV: "Ang saya ng laro dito!" wherein a man shouted "VTV na.............!", timecheck TVCs like Dunlop Socks, Beam Toothpaste short TVC feat. Ruby Rodriguez and children wherein they sang "Ikaw ako dito na tayo. Ngipi'y panalong-panalo, mag-Beam! 🎵🎵🎵 Teng-teng-reng-teng! 🎵🎵🎵" and 3D Appliances adopting a famous slogan "For quality you can trust." and then the different SID of IBC: Pinoy Ang Dating where the voiceover named Terrence Khan narrated in powerful echo at the end, "This is Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation!". 🤔

Jeffrey Cariaso/Gerry Esplana or Alvin Patrimony shouldn’t be in the veterans lineup. Vergel Meneses, Vic Pablo or Nelson Asaytoyo should be on the Veterans side. Yup they said they were injured but Vergel Meneses tops Kenneth Duremdes and Vic Pablo tops Alvin Patrimonio on this season. Dinakdakan lang ng harapan ni Alvarado in your face si Patrimonien, if that was Pablo or Asaytoyo, Alvarado will be bothered not to dunk it
