Some of Tom and Nova's backstory:
Canadian exprowrestler, that has been living in the ghetto of South Central L.A. After the politics of the business, and injuries Tom left the wrestling industry to become a rock-n-roll musician. Quickly finding out he had no voice for becoming a singer, Tom switched to rap. In 2009, Tom gave himself a literal deadline. Either make it as a rap artist in 10 years, or he was going to off himself.
In order to perform his first gig he contacted another rapper by the name of Nova Rockafeller (Nova Paholek) also Canadian, but grew up in Negril, Jamaica. She agreed if he would help her and her at the time boyfriend to hang posters on telephone poles.
Being pushed by a manager to get signed, Tom was making the same type of songs: Money, Liquor, Drugs, cars, and women. After his first 4 albums flopped, Tom went through a mental breakdown at 2016/2017 era.
When he understood the root of his depression, and anxiety, Tom knew he had to start speaking his truth. He also knew who he wanted to speak to, and who he wanted to be around. This included his mom, dad, and sister. But it also included Brandon Hart another rapper who gave on several occasions an air mattress for Tom to sleep on, when Tom was homeless on more than one occasion. He also wanted Nova. So he went over to her house and they created a rock-n-roll band GFBF (girlfriend boyfriend) which made anti-love songs. This was the same strategy Johnny Cash used to get June Carter.
With the electricity shut off, Tom was frustrated with the industry, sitting on the porch, he wrote 'Dear Rappers which went viral. In combination with 'Helluvit' where Tom was firing shots at the mumble rappers, another rapper thinking Tom was racist, tweeted: 'This Whiteboy here....'. Even though Nova had experienced it in Jamaica, Tom never experienced racism in Canada, was faced with it here in the US. Tom felt that he had to respond. So Tom wrote the iconic 'Whiteboy' track, and then all the haters showed up. Tom did make the battery story at that point. 'You can be positive all you want but nothing will go until you connect with the negative terminal." From there Tom felt he had to respond to the haters with 'This House' this is what launched his career, these 4 tracks. Just in time too, his ultimatum was set for 2019, and the start of his success began in 2018.
Tom recently destroyed all the remaining physical copies of his first four albums. However, anything from deathreats album and on Tom endorsers.

The GFBF album is complete but has been shelved until the right time to drop.
While Tom never signed to a label, Nova did at one time, until she did what was necessary to get herself intentionally fired from the label. She made a sayonora track to the label called 'Wishing Well'
For all of his songs, Tom conceptualizes, writes his own music, creates his own beats, but has issues with the hooks, his weak point. So Nova helps him with it. The only thing outsourced is mixing and mastering by Evan Morgan. Tom has done it before, but he sends it to Evan for efficiency. Tom does work 20 hour days.
Nova shoots, directs, and edits all of Tom's videos, and vice versa. Tom signs, packages, and ships all if his CD's. Due to covid, Tom felt that the fans were getting merchandise at too slow of a pace. So now Tom has purchased all the silk screening equipment. Nova, does the designs of her merchandise, and Tom collaborates with an artist for his. Nova has been known to edit a video for 28 hours straight. While typically in 3 to 5 day period they can start with lyrics to having song and video complete and ready to launch, their record is 24 hours with Tom's 'Coronavirus'. They are the epitome of the power duo. Due to covid, Nova's videos have been stalled, and because of Tom's success, Nova's music was put on the back burner. Now that Tom's saga is complete, Nova's stuff is gonna be pushed some more again, we anticipate anyway.
Tom one day told the story of when his father was driving down the road that Led Zeppelin came on the radio, he pulled off the side of the road, and told Tom that it was his favorite band. Tom knew he wanted to have that much power to pull people off the side of the road just to listen to him. Second if they were to pull over he wanted them to have something to talk about. Not just some to jam to, but to also lead discussion. Therefore Tom goes wide so that you and I can go deep.

Before I would be able to do that, it would require others telling Tom, or Nova that I might be the right person to write it. I am flattered that you think so, but it's Tom, and Nova that have to do the vetting process. It requires me to travel to Canada, and L.A. which I do not have the funds for. This task would also take a couple years to complete. Even as there would be independent publishing, it takes time, and money.

trump has been the most proactive president that the us has ever has, but you wont know about this unless you research, the problem with trump though is his communication skills with people, causing a lot of people to not connect with him.
I don't know... seems to me that in 4 years he didn't keep any of his campaign promises. Almost seems like he didn't do anything at all. If you pay attention, you realize things pretty much maintain the same trajectory regardless of who the president is.

Trump has the ability to negotiate. He has proven that with peace deals between Israel and Muslim countries. He could have done more for this country if Congress would have been willing to negotiate but they decided before he took office to hate him and refuse to negotiate.

The reason why so many Asians support Trump is because he talks business. And we Asians love business. He isn't a Politician but a Businessman which already makes him better than anyone else. He might not be that great of a speaker, but he has humor and knows money.
He's never earned a dime in his life. Every penny he has was earned by his father. He's a terrible businessman. Feel how you want about him as a person, politician, or president....but factually and undeniably he was a terrible business man.

Trump had great economic policies; he already had plans to scrap pungent deals set by Obama and his immediate predecessor. The reaction to these deal breaks were however unprecedented by Trump's conscience and that led to his downfall. He thought to have made a positive impact in the economic environment of USA, but resulted in the opposite.

No, people not paying attention is what allowed things to get so bad. Though I do agree, you can't just pick a media outlet and expect to get the truth, you gotta do much harder work than that, the truth is buried and distorted on purpose. Watch both leftwing and rightwing content. But then also watch independent commentary. The problem is people just pick a side then vote d or r no matter who it is. I'm disabled, I have done nothing but watch what's going on for the last 2 years, all day every day. From what I have learned, the democrats are pretty much all corrupt at the federal level, mostly corrupt at the state and local area. On the Republican side, federally, there is about 12 or so congressmen(house and senate combined) that actually aren't corrupt, while at the state and local level about 2 3rds are corrupt. All the things they got away with on Trump in the last 4 to 5 years is terrifying, Trump is the only president I've ever supported and I'm 38. All the claims about him saying rac-ist things are all lies, things taken out out context then given a different meaning. He was a horrible speaker so he made it easy for them but man did our corrupt government get away with a lot of very serious crimes trying to get rid of him, both Democrats and Republicans were United on that and that's how they got away with it, even with a large portion of trump supporters knowing and spreading incriminating facts. I know one thing, they will never let another person that isn't part of the corrupt cabal ever be president again, they know how much they can get away with now.

He put funding in place for Historically Black Colleges that would last 10 years. Prior to that, the colleges had to apply for money every year. Trump said that is dumb lets put it in place for 10 years at a time. As soon as Biden took office he reversed that. Minorities think the democrats are for them, but truth is they just want to keep them where they are and provide no motivation to make something better for themselves. Teach everyone that they NEED the government to take care of them. It baffles me that so many minorities do not see this. A large portion of the racial problems in this country are in Democrat run cities? Why do you think that is? Minorities should be thriving in Democrat cities, if we are to believe that Democrats are for the little people.

@@CM20022 I was 100% skeptical of Trump until he took out General Soleimani of Iran. They were leading us to war. Instead of Trump risking Americans lives he ended the conversation immediately. I told my girlfriend the day before he took him out. If he avoids conflict I'm a 1000% believer. Since that day he's never let me down. The military industrial complex controls every country in this world. Trump is challenging that system. Trump actively calls it out and exposes it. He also calls out the money manipulation that is another arm of control on every other country. He's not perfect but if he can survive a $45 million investigation by 13 people who absolutely hated him and come out clean. He's got to be the closest thing to perfect we got right now. Joe Biden would go down immediately after a $5 investigation.

I appreciate your perspective and commentary...I'm a 50yr old family man that lives somewhat close to the church in the Jeep SuperBowl commercial. The thing I love about Tom is he is trying to tell us ALL that we need to look bigger. Our issues are controlled at a higher level than our neighborhood, our community, our religion, sexual preferences or our race...my fear is that THEIR AGENDA now has a time-line. (2030). My HOPE is that thru Tom's music and lyrics we might be able to see thru the smoke and mirrors to see each other. And to see that despite our differences we are all in the same boat. We need to find a way to come together and end the path we are being led down. Our GREAT COUNTRY and our DOLLAR are the only things standing in their way. And of course at the core of that is....US! A few years ago I found Upchurch and Adam Calhoun. I had followed A-Cal for years because he made funny videos then made a song and I was blown away. Tom was another one. Speaking their truth. You don’t find that with mainstream music these days. Since I found Upchurch and A-Cal, I have only really listened to independent artists. They have no one pulling their strings and it’s real and raw.

So you asked a question near the end of this video that I cannot help but answer even though it is a fucked up answer. You asked why we get taxed so much and why all this money seems to disappear and not be used to help the country while it is in need. Well the answer is a little complicated but basically our income tax money is not actually used to pay for services the Government provides. Those are paid through other taxes. The income tax was created in 1913 the same year as the Federal Reserve. The purpose of both was to silently and invisibly steal money from population of the country and redirect it into the big banking industry. The Rockefeller interests, JP Morgan, those super huge too big to fail assholes.
They changed the monetary system from one where gold and silver were money to one where money can be printed and created by them out of nothing. The Federal Reserve is a private entity. It is NOT a government agency. It has stockholders and they get a dividend of profits paid to them every year. This entity creates our currency out of nothing and then loans it to the Government with interest, buying bonds which are Government promises to use tax money to pay back the "loan" the Fed is giving them. A loan of nothing because this currency is literally created. They write a check on an account with a zero balance and it is magically considered money. That is what the National Debt really is. It is the promise to repay government bonds, with interest. That is where 100% of our income tax money goes. To paying off the big banks. Every dollar in our system is owed to the Fed and it is owed with interest. Which means the debt is greater than the total amount of money. If we ever actually paid off the debt there would literally be no money left except in the hands of the banks. Income tax and the Federal Reserve are the prime drivers of income inequality, it is not evil rich people. We need to be honest and listen to people even if they come from a different place from you. There is no need for hate because we are more alike than different.
