the text was not talking about being annointed by oil...it was explaing the messiah by the actions that he will do and how he will rule the world.... We should expect correlation as all holy scriptures came from the one divine source. When you see the little horn again in 11, you notice it’s another colonial empire that overflows borders into Israel. They ‘pitched their tents’ in Jerusalem in 2018.
2018 happens to fall exactly 69 weeks after the Ottomans made a decree to build those walls. That was in 1535. Notice also what happened during the 62nd week when Jerusalem was captured and untied with Israel. On 9/23/2017, there was a rare alignment described in Rev 12 that signified the messiah being born naturally. It all ties in perfectly.
So if the Daniel timeline is true, this whole thing gets a wrap around 2025. Not sure why he isn’t here yet but reading Isa 53, I’m betting he’s a Palestinian. That’s a description of the life of the suffering servant you see there.
