That Rumely tractor shown at the beginning has a long history in this area. It was originally owned by Dan Fry, who used it in a thresher ring for years, and operated a portable sawmill for one year. It is still in the Fry family, and it has been at our steam and gas show every year for 40 years, except for one year when it had a mechanical problem. The wooden cab was replaced a number of years ago.
The sawmill in this portion also has a long history in our steam and gas club. It was built by John Weaver of Middlebury, IN. After John died it was owned for a number of years by Nelson Lecount, who sold it to the present owner, Dennis Miller. Dennis is the man running the mill in this video. His father and grandfather also operated portable sawmills for years.

At 5:02 the man on the right is Bill Vandermaas. Bill ran Ford tractor dealerships in New Paris and Lagrange. IN. This show was very interesting to him, and he educated myself and others about Ford tractors.
