      Ordinary Ukrainians certainly are not shielded from Putin’s genocide against their country. And this war meets every definition of genocide. Putin is flattening whole cities, murdering tens of thousands of citizens, erasing Ukrainian language and culture in occupied regions, and shipping captured Ukrainians off to camps for dispersal into Russia.
      So, why shouldn’t ordinary Russians also feel the pain of Putin’s idiotic war?

      The purpose of those sanctions is to force them to surrender. Let's not talk about pain we are inflicting when they themselves are throwing their youth at a meat grinder that is also killing thousands of ukrainians & displacing millions. Wise considerations, about minding the NATO defense ability, in the case of, Heaven forbid, direct threat to some NATO country.
    Actually, some Croat security analysts, with the experience from our defense war 1991-1995, said at the beginning, that Russian invasion might be a diversion from something more sinister, looming "behind the hill".

    • @alainlefebvre9860
      @alainlefebvre9860 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, if the plan was to weaken Russia before a larger, more sinister operation, without losing a single NATO Troup, then I guess they've succeeded.
      Now, the west needs to ramp up all weapons factories even if just to escalate shipments to Ukraine. The west, other than the US, has been too lax for too long.

    • @NullHand
      @NullHand 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I do not think that it is realistic that Russian Federation is going to attack right now. I think that Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland would be an impossible goal right now to conquer. This war's duration will be calculated in years, not in months, if we do not give Ukrainians ATACMS'es, which could end the war in months, unless there are serious production issues with ATACMS'es!?

    There is a terrible misunderstanding being advanced in this interview: that western military doctorine depends on short-range weapons such as HIMARS, Artillery, Javilins, etc. Even tanks are a a short range weapon and of limited use. Those manufacturing capabilities have been dialed back, exactly because they are not intended to be used. Any modern western army, that needs say a anti-tank round with 2 km range, is already in such trouble, they are not going to help much anyway. It is based on total air and ground domination, via drones, long range missiles, planes, etc, that a solider never gets so close that they even see the enemy; and, thus, they are never in danger in the first place. This has been the basis since the first Gulf war. It is also why casualties for all the conflicts since have been so low. So far, the war in Ukraine has proven that russia could have never fought such a war successfully, nor could they defend against one. So, not too worry about those stock-piles being depleted, or manufacturing capabilities, beyond the ability to supply Ukraine.

    • @BeaverZer0
      @BeaverZer0 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed, manufacturing is ramped down to almost non existant levels because unlike Russia, the West doesn't stockpile weapons that will be useless and broken when we go to use them, so we only have what we could reasonably use.
      Since there were no wars to use them in, noone was ordering them. Orders for new weapons have just spiked.. Besides , USA still has 3 Javalin for every single Russian owned tank.

    I disagree with the idea that the west cannot sanction items that affect rUSSIAN civilians. THE Ukrainian population has been & still is being targeted targeted by ratshits artillery & missiles who are being wounded & killed: the rUSSIANS are not so a little discomfort from sanctions is not unreasonable.
    I would like to see standardisation of weapons, aircraft, vehicles for democratic nations to facilitate interoperability within the various services.
    It’s really important to have coordinated support for Ukraine placed on a formal basis so that all democracies share this “load” according to their ability. Ukraine must not fail. By not supplying them with all the weapons they need to defeat the invaders is like tying one hand behind their back. WHY ? It’s in our interests to have a victory sooner than later. VICTORY to UKRAINE.

Every other country has something already in place except the UK whos government prefer to waste time and many weeks deciding which Conservative idiot should rule next! The UK government were quick to send millions of UK money to the Ukraine, and its right we help support their fight to be free, but in consequence the UK government have put NOTHING in place yet to help with the soaring energy bills. As usual the Tories are quick to help any other country in need but their own, until the nation stands up and says "Enough is enough!"

It was they that jumped to impose sanctions and now complain about Russia striking back. Weapons supplied by the USA government to Ukraine emit more carbon pollution and are more harmful than those from farmers. Farmers have gone bankrupt, agriculture has shrunk, there are fewer taxpayers, and more people are receiving welfare. Is it necessary to raise taxes again? The decline in grain output is one of the most important reasons for inflation. Should the government allocate funds to subsidize farmers, support agriculture, reduce grain prices, and control inflation? Is inflation the most urgent issue now related to people's lives?

      This woollyminded peacenickery plays into Putinazi's hands. It's as good as saying to the Ukrainians "if rape is inevitable, lie back and enjoy it".

    The stock market has been a really tough one this past months, but I watched an interview on CNBC where the anchor ‘Jim Cramer’ kept mentioning "...KARINA MATTIS...". This prompted me to get in touch with her, and from October 2021 till now we have been working together, and I can now boast of $540k in my trading portfolio.

      Russians are now swimming, escaping the oncoming Ukrainians. All those still fighting West of the Dnipro river are not aware )))) Good luck to them, their comrades are fleeing. Putin is finished. I see the Telegram videos right now.

      Ukraine is doing fine and improving with each weapon sent to them and each soldier trained in the UK. Russia is running scared because they know they're falked with the west backing Ukraine.

      @@alainlefebvre9860how long will there be public support for in the west? Especially if we start getting blackouts and unaffordable energy prices? I mean average energy bills are set to raise from £1200 to 5 or even £6000 per year from January people are already struggling here in the UK I can’t imagine how people are going to pay that kind of bill?
      How many more weapons and vehicles can we realistically send to the Ukraine to get destroyed by the Russians? And if they aren’t being destroyed why do they need more?
