I have MS and HATE having to use. But I'm only 52 and look 42 and not "sick" this is depressing.

There's no reason to make scooters look like this. My Dad sold these things in the early 80's. There's still a bunch of the 3-wheel ones in a garage somewhere.
They were a newish option to improve mobility with nothing but a battery, motor, and wheels. Made sense 40 years ago though overpriced at over 2 grand.
Just checked out the EWheels EW-14 and the LuxuryTon and they're stylin'.
Definitely a step up from the (circa 2001) CityBug passed down, though I love riding it and it gets a lot of attention for being rare and unique.
Surely you can find a cool electric vehicle that represents how you feel instead of one that adds 30 years by just being on it lol,.
