    Oh my god, I never even thought to try and MIDI learn the up/down in the browser but always wished I had a way to do it from my controller. You literally just changed my life and workflow forever.

    Yes Woody please keep the Omnisphere content coming. I did get the Prophet 12 and it turns out it is one of best Omnisphere hardware controllers ever. They have mapped everything on the front panel to almost everything in Omnisphere. (not to mention that the Prophet 12 is one of finest sounding synths ever produced) Omnisphere is still jaw dropping for me every time I fire it up!!

    I'm not much of a DAW/VST user, mostly a standalone keyboard workstation user. But I like how you can customize the mapping of the Novation's many front panel controls to MIDI. I see how that flexibility would be quite useful. @2:30 "You must unlearn what you have learned" - Yoda

    Some good tips! I might be moving to a MIDI controller with a bunch of sliders and knobs soon, so this'll come in handy.

    Thanks so much Woody for another excellent video. This was so full of information. I have got all these things working now. It makes such a difference. And also to those who might have hardware, check out if its on the list for compatible Omnisphere controllers. Turns out I have got two. The Korg MS20iC and also a Moog Voyager. I have got those hooked up now and it makes it so much easier to edit Omnisphere sounds. Both keyboards become polyphonic too. I am getting a Prophet 12 soon and it's on the list for hardware synth front panel for Omnisphere patch editing. It's painless to map controllers to Omnisphere synth parameters.

    I’m looking to get a new midi controller. My daughter broke my launch key 2. I got the nektar t6 but could never get used to a key bed hurting my wrist for some reason. A drum pad just went out on that so I’m in the market for a new one that can multilayer zones. I was basically told the akai can do what I’m looking for but tempted to wait to see if anyone else is doing anything soon. I like the feel of my old launch key with how expressive it was when using vsts. I also like the features that arturia offers. Using the keylab essential felt more like having a hardware keyboard. Other thoughts are to get something like sl 73 and modular sliders and pads as a separate controller. A lot to choose from.

      the ni controllers have pretty nice keybeds if that's important, also very tight integration with NI software. m-audio and launchkey are good allrounders, that latter superb for ableton!

    Hi Woody, great adjustment tips 🎉
    Q: what tape we could use , not to ruin the painting of the device? Thanks 🤗

    • @WoodyPianoShack
      @WoodyPianoShack  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i'm just using a cheap roll of painter/masking tape that I had lying around, no-brand. but you got to be careful, i agree.

    Thanks for the great video, I have issues to save the preset and reload it in Omnisphere, I tried to save as template and reload but it doesn't work, any idea?

    • @jeffevansmusic
      @jeffevansmusic ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you referring to a normal Omnisphere preset or a controller map type preset.

    • @laurentmis
      @laurentmis ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jeffevansmusic A controller map type prest, after assigning midi learn to nanokontrol I would like to store those midi learn cc's for all omnisphere presets every time I load an instance of omnisphere, I don't know if it's possible.

    Since you are reviewing Romplers, how about Nexus - doesn’t come on 20 DVDs 😉
