- Fantastic video as usual. Really chuffed for you getting amongst the fish. Some stunning looking Rhinosa-Wrasse amongst them. 😉 I’m really sorry I couldn’t get out to have a fish with you. You said it yourself in the video. When the coastline and scenery is like this the fishing almost comes as a secondary. Tight lines brother and keep up with the fantastic videos. 😊👍🏻🎣💙
So nice of you to say John, thanks. Yeah it was pretty amazing down there, should have made the visit sooner. We'll hook up next time I'm down, perhaps in the spring, and maybe I'll stay a little longer. Thanks for everything mate. Stu
I don't often watch the longer vids but thought I'd have a pew. Glad I did. Subbed as a result. We visited Mullion couple of weeks back and wifey had told me to take the gear but I declined. Regretted it when I got there. So many day trips we've had where I could have had a dabble. Hey ho. I can't get enough of the Kernow fishing vids and they keep me sane whilst back in the smoke. Most enjoyable and along with Rob and John.....Keep 'em coming for this envious Emmet.
Great video Should do a carp fishing video with John , you with a cane carp cod , and John with is white carp rod . Brilliant shout about being safe , a lot of people don't realise how dangerous the see can be 👍
Cheers Malcolm, yeah that had to be done. I'd hate someone to watch the video, get down there themselves and as a result have an accident. That would be fun, a old vs new fish off, perhaps we could arrange something for next summer. Stu
Brilliant film Stu. You know I love my Wrasse fishing , and this really hit the spot !! Loved seeing that Avon bend mate. When it's really snaggy like that , a float fished hardback crab can score well with the big pigs. Too many smaller fish like the worm drifting around. Well done on those superb Wrasse mate. Take some Texas rigged SP's next time. And Me 😆👍👍
Excellent video and love your enthusiasm. I have recently taken early retirement and returned to fishing after a 20 year break. I have come back to the carp scene and the madness I find there is the opposite world to your video and what I want from my fishing. I also love sea fishing and have just returned from some rock hopping adventures on the mull of Kintyre. Get all these adventures in while you can as sometimes when you see a rock mark you want to get to your mind makes promises that your body no longer agrees with.
I find myself getting more and more drawn to the sea these days. I was lucky in carp fishing in as much as I had a few really secluded, out of the way fisheries I could angle at, but even those got a bit 'samey'. The sea excites me, so much to explore, and especially out in the little boat, complete solitude. Stu
Use old nuts bolts spark plugs as weights on light break away line better than loosing leads plus good to loose the weight if a big fish runs through the kelp. That first wrasse looked a lot bigger they are very thick fish I would have said 2 possibly up to 3lb but I only see it from the video. If you want the biggest wrasse try shore crab then hold on :) Great video
Hey Stu, I find it rather embarrassing when you put at the end "Thank you for watching". I can assure you, it’s us who should be thanking you for such fantastic, professional, thoroughly entertaining videos!👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👌🏻 Your attention to detail with the filming, whilst enjoying our great sport/hobby, is incredible. I am so glad you caught well & broke your P.B. a few times, whilst making this video diary of your trip. I can only reiterate my thanks for entertaining me with yet another outstanding video. Stay safe & well, & my best wishes to your family, & Dad, who I know follows your every adventure. THANK YOU STUART.👌🏻👍🏻🎣
Hi Stu great to see you back out and I see the call off the sea was to much for you lol. What a stunning place almost Jurassic in nature glad you enjoyed it and that you got what you wanted also congrats on the PBs. The filming was your usual impeccable standard with excellent drone footage. Until next time take care and stay safe my friend.
A great video Stu. Wrasse fishing is something I want to do but I'm no longer a mountain goat like you. Your filming is becoming amazing, I love some of the scenery shots, espescially in such a nice place as mullion cove. The droan footage was pretty epic!! It's not often I can give anyone any tips in fishing but get yourself round a few local garages and see if you can get a supply of old spark plugs. It's so much cheaper than losing lead weights, but they do the same job really well.
@@thesweetcornkid266 There are some stunning places near here. Like you said though, it's best not to go alone and you can never anticipate what the sea will do. I nearly got swept off the stone Jetty once at Aberystwyth from 40 feet up above the sea. The wave literally went right over my head and like a fool I dived on my rod which probably saved my life because it meant the wave missed me.
Missed your videos Stu as usual great great content loved it mate And i never use leads fishing for wrasse i use stones drilled out from the beach its a ball ache job but saves a fortune mate plus next time get on the wrecks on a charter mate OMG its unbelievable fishing or ask Mr Fish Locker to take you out on he's boat 😂😂😂 in fact John that should be a video Stu and you on a wreck with a subscriber (wink, wink) 🤣🤣
Yeah I do need to think about the weight situation for next time, I'm sure I can come up with something. As for Mr locker, I'm sure we'll get together sometime for a collaboration. Stu
Hi, STU. I am really sorry for getting your name wrong in the comments for the Oban trip. 😕Have no idea why I thought your name was Chris.😢 Hope it didn't affect your absolutely awesome day. Well done on the cracking skate.👏👏👏 Can't wait to see the video, it will be amazing.🌟🌟🌟 Sorry again.

Fantastic, so pleased you came along and enjoyed it. Yeah take a rod next time, even if it's a quick half an hour, well worth a go.

Boulderish and Rhinocerwrasse need adding to the angling lexicon immediately! Another excellent video and some beautiful fish & scenery 👌
Thanks. Yes, I often make up words, there just aren't enough good ones out there. Thanks for watching.
