I am a simpleton who can't read Tosh. What's the end verdict on whether or not he actually wants/needs to do this podcast? Something occurred to me while typing that: is this show made entirely to have a comedy podcast we actually want to hear, made just for the hell of it?
Based on this and the first episode I think he wants to do this show, and he had a contract issue with Comedy Central that took years to resolve. They are known to shelve shows when they don't want to pay for the next season and just hold the contract.
@@tuckercase2449 No chance he needs it, he could surely have retired just off the cash Comedy Central gave him to break his contract when they were purging all their live shows. I am sure they threw cash at that problem because they wanted to cancel all of those productions ASAP.
I love how he's always like " the first question i always ask my guests is do they believe in ghosts" after already asking a couple questions. Love it.
Daniel Tosh: the master of the nice guy with an 'asshole persona.' Behind the laughs, I sense a genuinely nice dude. Keep the comedy flowing, Daniel! 😄🎤
Daniel isn’t gonna let y’all hit stop riding him. You can like him without trashing other podcasts it’s screams pick me. I love Daniel gosh tho his fans are so cringe
I f’ing love Daniel Tosh!! There are not many human beings that have the charisma, wit & likability to spend the better part of an entire hour simply talking to regular people (stylist, chef, surfing buddy, etc.) and have hundreds of thousands of viewers watching & eagerly awaiting the next episode!! Dude’s a unique talent and makes it all seem to be easy, casual & effortless. Hats off to a great entertainer!
@Dr.J.Garlock I've always thought Daniel's innocent clean cut boy next door looks was one reason he got away with so many politically incorrect jokes. That and he is a master of constructing his jokes that Black people in their reaction videos laugh it up to his black slavery jokes. Not sure tho if all gays like his gay jokes. hehe But the smart one's know that he really isn't a homophobe.
I love how the mean comments he makes towards her are somehow so affectionate, you can tell they're good friends lol. Also the shade thrown at a certain fellow comedian at the end with the airport bit omg 😂
The 180 of like to dislike I have for YMH keeps getting confirmed more and more. Tom thinks he's big and important, and then Tosh casually exists to demolish them all. Just remember he doesn't have to do this!
You can see how he's kept her close company for so long in how they enjoy talking to each other. Great episode. Particularly when you call bullshit and start muttering to yourself. I fucking crack up.
Every single one of these episodes are incredible. Daniel is so very talented as are his cohorts. Thank you so much you have no idea how cathartic your episodes are. Eternally grateful for your words.
I hope he keeps goin through his bench until eventually it's like "The guy who valeted my car that one time at (fancy restaurant name I don't know cuz I'm not rich like him)"
I love the editing decision of leaving the entire phone call and the failed call in the final cut. This is the premium content we come for lmao. Tosh had that smirk while it was ringing like "oh yeah fuck them they're gonna sit through this with me"
From what he said it sounded like she called off the marriage. She probably didn't get his humour. 21 is too young for most people so he may have been lucky.
It's Like what the common in the beginning said. People didn't realize that his stage personality was just a persona. A caricature of a s***** person. These individuals legit thought this persona in the jokes he made in a persona were his actual thoughts and beliefs. He didn't realize that... He was making fun of them. And they paid him for it.
After a few minutes of watching this episode I looked away and saw a giant green blob. Then I realized that it was his pink shirt burning that spot in my vision lol. Loved the phone call with mom and dad lol
I love the comments Tosh displayed, all of them hating on him because they think he’s a massive liberal. Just enjoy the show and stop being a snowflake because his views don’t necessarily fit into your incredibly rigid box
Just found this show today, been on a comedian pod "binge" at times all this year which are awesome....but this def seems fresh and tosh is hilarious no matter what the subject is. Keep going dude.

I love these people who generally seem way out of focus in comparison to what we watch and view on the day to day, are some of the most charismatic and enjoyable interviews I've seen. Thank you sincerely!
When she was talking about being in the basement drinking water was wild. Daniels response was perfect. Wtf was she talking about so dramatic 😂😂 she is so goofy. Loved the episode 😂
it can't be overstated enough: Tosh is a fcking legend. 99.9% of people in his position would have scheduled 100 straight shows with A-listers from every sphere of influence the moment he announced his show..you can bet many have contacted him and offer up their availability. But what does he do to kickoff his new podcast? He instead schedules Z-listers; the ultimate Chad move. He doesn't want to grow his podcast by circle jerking with famous people. He wants to grow it talking to real people who have real people perspectives. He's not advertising himself or bringing attention whores onto the show. He's giving all the exposure to the people who make his life better.
I love this podcast. Tosh is the best. I look forward to it every week. The part about calling his dad because his mom didn't answer is so relatable. I have the same thing but it is my dad that never answers.
Just listened to this and had to come here to comment. Daniel's podcasts have been so refreshing and delightful. This was a great interview and it's cool to hear about some of the inside baseball.
