I recall on an early episode Simpsons commentary track the writers mentioned how they wanted Bart's heroes (I.e. Radioactive Man and Krusty) to look very similar to Homer. They liked the irony that Bart had no respect for Homer but all the people he looked up to were the either idealized version of or similar looking to his dad. They even toyed with revealing Homer was Krusty in the planing stages of the series!
I did not realize it until after editing was complete. I used to remember it but the gag in The Simpsons game where even Matt gets it wrong now has me tripped up every time. When we do another one it'll be remedied!
The voices are perfect.
We agree! Make sure to check out part 2!
That radio announcer is fantastic, wow!
The entire voice cast did!
@@secondratefilmschoolOh absolutely, I'm just blown away by him in particular!
Thanks for the compliment!
Radioactive man looks similar to Homer and the villain similar to Mr. Burns.

@@secondratefilmschool And also cited the fun irony that his dad was an actual "radioactive man", i.e a nuclear plant worker.
@@geraldgottesman5931 That's a good point!
i would have thought being hit by an atomic bomb should have killed him, but now i know better.
Hey this is really fun, but you *really* ought to, respectfully, pronounce Matt's name correctly - it rhymes with "raining".
