The only minus in this model is many parts being loosely connected. Visually the model looks impressive & very accurate in detailing!

In my opinion but I could be wrong is that the model would lift more if it could extend the outriggers out a bit more
True of any crane, but the model tries to replicate the real machine.

Hello, when you do the weight scaling, why is the multiplier 125 and not 50 like the scale of the crane? (75 ton / 0.6 KG = 125)
The scale of 1/50 is for length. However weight is related to volume which is length x width x height, so to approximately scale up weight you have to multiply by 50 x 50 x 50.
Thanks, that's what I suspected. I ordered the liebherr colors version of the crane, can't wait for it to arrive. I am still debating about the jib. Have you done experiments of the lifting capacity of the jib? Specifically reach (distance) as opposed to height. I wonder how close the capacity curve on the model will be to the real life one.
why the yellow liebherr crane is 177cm why this grohmann is 170cm
