- Hi all, Henrik here again!
Today was a very special day for me. I finally got the opportunity to meet @jonnajinton, whom I have admired for a long time.
We recorded an episode of my podcast "Vandra med Henrik" (Wander with Henrik) together, and I was completely overwhelmed with emotions.
I felt nervous and a bit like a "fanboy". It's hard to put into words how it feels to meet someone you look up to so much.
I am so grateful to be able to experience moments like these through my growing universe. Words cannot describe how it feels!
After we said goodbye, I walked around the streets of Stockholm, trying to process all the impressions.
I felt a little silly for getting so emotional, but I decided that it's okay. I am okay.
So join me on a rather incoherent and emotional rant from a very special day!
A mix of emotions, simply put, as I usually say - "I have mixed drinks about feelings".

Jonna's light reminds me of my own as a child full of wonderment and always amazed at the beauty in the natural world. I lost a part of that somewhere along my life. Jonna reminds me of it with every video. I even practice the whistle through cupped hands as I also did as a child. Thank you to all the beautiful souls out there for remembering! ❤🩷🧡💚💚💙🩵💜
Hello from Chicago. I am also a Jonna fan. My mother's parents were from Varmland but I don't know the Swedish language. I had gone on a kayaking trip based from Gullholmen and visited family in Falkoping. I enjoy contemporary Swedish folk music like Gjallerhorn and Garmarna and I follow a few TH-camrs to help me under Swedish culture. A few family members are good at Facebook and Instagram but others are not and we share family photos but do not talk about culture other than one cousin's love of motorcycles and classic car restoration.
Thank you for risking your personal perceptions in such a public forum as TH-cam. Like Jonna, you also are to be admitted for your courage and ability to articulate abstract humanity. To me, your observations seem simultaneously very Swedish and broadly universal. Thank you for helping me understand my heritage and my place in our loosely connected but definitely connected virtual world. ❤️

Trying to find the right words.. it's nice to find people that i easily relate to with similar struggles who has a voice capable of reaching many people.. we are all connected. I have gone on many journey's by my fire pit and in some orher places where I have learned that all things are one. Nature is always in balance and life is about balance. During the journey it is easy to hold those things in your mind but afterwards it's fades into the background. Regardless it remains true. Hope what Im trying to say comes across in the right way

Why not feeling weak when it's because you like or love ir admire somebody.
But I understand... I grew up in the 70s... you had to be cool... that meant we couldnt show any emotions... never... always on top of the wave..
wich was very exhausting... you never could lean back or let yourself fall ... even into someones arms ..
But you are younger I guess... much... I am 59.
I really love to see you with Jonna now... after hearing your emotions about that.
What else is interesting thiese days than something surprising to experience?
The same old stories are definitely not!
So be brave... weak like a baby... and show us what it means to be weak and love it!

Hi Henrik 😊 Thank you for adding subtitles so I could join you on your walk! I have been practicing telling people I meet that I admire them or like something about them for the last many years. Whether it’s a first time meeting or a long time admiration. I think it’s so important for both you & them! I like to think of the joy it spreads around the world & makes people feel good. I think about how I may have been the only encounter that person had all day, & I said something positive to them. Practicing this gets easier! Have a wonderful day!

I call these people we look up to "north stars", they serve as a guiding light to us because they embody something we feel we lack and want to embody for ourselves.
Your introduction was very hard on yourself and not true. I do not see over emotional or incoherent.
I think you're working your way through healing toxic social 'normality'. The extra walking is helping you move stuck energy. Let the emotions flow!

Voiceover in other languages would be nice at least English French and Spanish might get you a bunch more views. In spite of trying to listen and hear what I could and read the transcript while you're talking I still listen to the whole thing. Thank you for being honest and being real... And thank you for being emotional.
