What's a Soul Link?
In a Pokémon Soul Link, two players play different Pokémon games simultaneously. They catch one Pokémon per area, linking each pair caught at the same time.
If one Pokémon faints, its linked partner must be released or permanently stored, increasing difficulty.
This setup demands coordination, as players must progress at similar paces, share strategies, and emotionally invest in their paired teams, aiming to beat the game's challenges with these restrictions.
*OUR SOUL LINK RULES*
If either player loses a battle (whites out) the game must be restarted by both players.
2 pokemon MUST be caught for each route and MUST be fused together.
A pokemon can not be unfused once fused.
If a pokemon dies, it is no longer useable on the team.
Pokemon are linked by the SOUL. The route number for both players pokemon must match eachothers teams at all times.
Held items are allowed.
Level cap is equal to next gym leader's highest pokemon level.
Only 1 HP Healing item (not counting held items) can be used during a battle.
No game corner.
Dying during catching an encounter does not count as a death.
Enemy Trainers use intelligent AI for battling.
10 Gifted members earns a Pokemon Name for the playthrough.
Warning, Pokemon could be lost at anytime.
