Hey thanks for watching! As I’ve mentioned in another response, you can run cellular trail cams with just the solar panel (if it has a lithium battery inside). You can use regular AAs as a back up in case your panel isn’t getting sun due to snow, etc.
What happens when your plot fills up with deer and they are moving around in say 4 zones? Does the camera just span around constantly taking photos/videos? Seems like you could get an insane amount of pics and use batteries like crazy. Am I wrong? I an see the value of attaching it to say an oak tree where you have no idea where the deer are feeding so now with say 4 zones you won't miss much.
There are several options that you may want to consider for this scenario. In PIR Photo mode, it will only take photos in the zone where there is motion. If there are deer all around it, then it will take lots of pictures. You can avoid this by setting your PIR delay out a little bit (so there’s more of a delay between photos). If you have it in PIR 360 mode, it will take photos of all 6 zones whenever motion is detected in ANY zone. If you have tons of deer, you will get lots of photos, but you can tweak the settings to manage them.
Hey Duane! Nice review as always brother! I am still searching for a house down near my friend's 100 acre farm in Tennessee, but, his farm has a few 5-8 acre grass/weeds openings (they will be food plots next season!) and he may be getting a few of these 360s to put out on his land for Christmas. (and by Christmas, I mean when I get down there, hopefully soon!) The back story to my friend (and former co-worker) is, he is a city boy who married a country girl and has never hunted in his life, but that is going to change this season and going forward!
That’s awesome!!! I wish him all the best in his outdoor journey!!! Don’t forget to have him share access to his Stealth Cams so you can see all the action too haha. 👍🏻👍🏻
Hey! You can’t turn it off per se… but you can set the operating hours for it to work only during certain time (and you can make that window pretty small - like only on for 5 minutes). Hope this helps! 👍🏻
Hey thanks for watching! It will give you a 360 series photo which shows every zone. It will also do this when it gives you check-in photos at whatever time you set your transfer times.
It's defintely a private land cam. It's not getting locked to a tree. And realize that a 360 view means 360 degrees of possible triggers from leaves, grass, etc, blowing in the wind. And, moving parts are prone to failure, and make noise.
I’ve had one out since May with no problems. I also tested it for noise and to see if deer were spooked by it. All good so far. Like I said…. Great for food plots and fields. Thanks for watching and best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻
Stealth cam is coming out with a rechargeable battery pack this year. In veiw of the fact that this is a new model and it takes 16 batteries, you would have thought they would have made the camera compatible with the new battery pack, but they didn't. Not good in my opinion.
Yeah it’s a totally different camera setup than there usual cartridges. As mentioned in the video, I’d go with a solar panel/lithium battery combo and post it in that secondary spot lower on that mounting pole. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Good review!
Thanks so much! Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻
Removing the card improves image quality?
So we're better off not using one if we have a subscription?
That's very cool!
Thanks for the great work.
Hey thanks for watching! You can pull the SD card at any time and have access to your HD photos and videos. Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻
Can you still use the camera if you dont have a cellular plan?
You should be able to use it without a plan and just pull the SD card. I’d check with Stealth Cam just to be sure though 🦌👍🏻
So... If you want to use a solar panel.. what kind of Batteries do you buy? Any rechargeable Batteries?

Awesome
Thanks for watching WTW!!!💪🏻

What batteries did you use
Hey thanks for watching. I used the Amazon Basic AAs for this. Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻
Hey there Duane can you tell me if you can turn that camera off with your cell phone?
Hey! You can’t turn it off per se… but you can set the operating hours for it to work only during certain time (and you can make that window pretty small - like only on for 5 minutes). Hope this helps! 👍🏻
Thanks Duane.
When using on demand. Does it show a pic of each zone or just from zone 2. Can you use on demand a 360 video?
Hey thanks for watching! It will give you a 360 series photo which shows every zone. It will also do this when it gives you check-in photos at whatever time you set your transfer times.
@@mountainbuck this is when using the on demand?
The on demand photo is a 360 photo. Whether you have on demand activated or not, you will get a 360 Check in photo when the camera checks in.
@@mountainbuck thanks
@@mountainbuck thanks again.
You've gotta do a review on the new Moultrie Mobile Edge Pro 2
Hey Gavin! I know!!! I have to get my hands on the new Edges. Hopefully soon🙏🏻
@@mountainbuck Sweet! It's always nice to know I'm gonna get a quality review when I click on your videos. Keep at it
Thanks man. Much appreciated 👍🏻👍🏻

Watch for moisture in camera
Thanks for the heads up!
Blurry if not at all visable pictures at night and mornings, while i have no blurring or any visibility issues with my tacta cams and spartans
Do you have the Pro version or regular Revolver?
The clear plastic around the camera fogs up easily making late night/early morning pics horrible!!
Hey thanks for watching. I don’t think I’ve had a trail camera that hasn’t fogged up in rain/humid conditions.
@@mountainbuck I had 2 cams on one post and the regular stealth cam never fogged up when the 360 did.

Kind of seems gimmicky to me.
Just returned mine. It’s complete trash of a game cam.
Oh man… what happened?
