- The #overlanding #expedition continues in Part 2, of our #backroads #adventure as we tackle #Hancockpass on our route to #overlandexpo #mountainwest.
Following our drivers meeting, we made the push onward through Gunnison, #Colorado for lunch and then to the quiet mountain town of #pitkin.
As #overlanders we continue to push ourselves and our #rigs on different trails, terrain, and obstacles. As always, safety is paramount on an adventure and in this part of the journey, our skills would be tested and utilized for the drama that was to come.

Every toyota i owned never had enough power for those trails your running. Im glad i got my diesel chevy truck last year. Power is no longer an issue. Great video👍👍👍👍👍
With the re-gearing we didn’t experience an issue. However, we would LOVE the torque/power of a diesel. Thank you for watching and leaving us a comment.

We definitely want to get back to Colorado and do some trails. But we will stick with easier ones. Mainly because we won’t be in a group. We would just like to get a little off the beaten path and do some camping too. It does looks so fun to be in a big group. Really liking the look of those new Broncos. They seem pretty capable. Think if we ever decided to get something besides the hummer, it would be a Jeep. Just always wanted one. Anyway, this is such an awesome trip with some seriously beautiful scenery and views!
Safety is important and smart to stick to the more capable trails if you are traveling by yourselves. Jeeps are awesome adventure vehicles!
