Come Away is and remains my favorite. One of the taps I could buy with own money! Thanks Brother Eric:
Anywhere the breeze is blowing
The same direction you keep sailing
Just like a candle in the wind
Come on now got stand on your feet
The wind is blowing much more than now
And the rain is falling too
Come make up your mind
You got to pick your choice
Before your candle light goes out
Come away, come away
I see the enemies around you
Come away, come away
I see them trying to devour you
Come away, come away
I see the enemies around you
Come away, come away
I see them trying to devour you
(.)
The wind is blowing much more than now
And the rain is falling too
Come make up your mind
You got to pick your choice
Before your candle light goes out
Come away, come away
I see the enemies around you
Come away, come away
I see them trying to devour you
Come away, come away
I see the enemies around you
Come away, come away
I see them trying to devour you
Come away, I see the enemies around you
Come away, I see them trying to devour you

Who is with me 2022 Eric Donaldson raise your ✋
Eric Donaldson should at least visit Nigeria in his life time. Bob Marley did. Every other Jamaican greats did. It will be a snub if Eric didn't, considering how Nigerians love him and his music.
I miss my mummy, she introduced me to Eric donaldson many years ago. Now she is late some years ago. she plays the cassette everyday in our old home
Sorry for your loss, and at the same time Praises to your mother for the gift of music, and not just any music but The Beloved Eric Donaldson. 'Just keep that fire burning'...forever and forever. Stay blessed. ❤💛💚
Same here too. my mum introduced me to Eric Donaldson at my young age at our old home, she is gone to be with the Lord, anytime i miss her, come here to listen. i so much miss her. she corrects me on the lyrics as a young boy, i didnt get it well. may her soul keep resting in peace. Im crying right now

The first time our mum baught a radio cassette player in 1982, this was the first and the only tape she bought with it and we played from morning till night
Can't stop laughing... I can relate.
My mum also had only his tape in the late eighties and nineties. It was white color
It’s just Amazing how everyone talks about the Sweet memories this album brings them ...can’t stop listening to it myself... Eric Donaldson “ a very talented but yet underrated Reggae Singer, not to forget to say he is one of the Greatest. His Music was played a lot back-in the day in many African countries for whatever the reason was. But you play a song from this Album and I can assure you a lot of not just Africans but many Africans from the Caribbean can relate to it or maybe even hum to the Rhythm. A True Reggae Icon who brought us songs that carry such feeling and love to this Day. A smooth voice gliding over those harmonious beats making it feel so relaxing and Smooth. Beautifully arranged songs guided with a Sweet Message. For Real aTrue Reggae Icon. We Salute you Honourable Sir Eric Donaldson. Thanks for your Beautiful Message and Monumental Work. JAH Love. Thanks. 🇲🇱🇲🇱🇲🇱🇲🇱
