When was he supposed to buy /rent his own place? Last year. he was in College then he stuck on the Giants practice squad as a free agent. Which has no security on you staying with that team. Lucky for him it was the Giants and his parents live 10 minutes away

It’s kind of sad that cooking for your spouse and doing laundry is such an ask in 2023
So im 37 I have my own apartment and work for a living my own car i have about 50k saved in my bank account. And yet my mother lives about 5 minutes away from me driving. And i still drop my clothes off to her and she washes them, she does food shopping and gives me whatever she has extra of, she still makes dinner and tells me to come over to eat. A mother will always be a mother. No matter how old you are mom will always be mom.

What a dumb segment, the kid is a rookie that went UNDRAFTED months ago, his job was far from secure when he signed that contract. He also saves a lot of money, which I’m sure his parents want him to conserve as much given his age and job security. He’s only 10 miles from the stadium, why not? After this season he may even steal the starting job, DJ8 is a walking disaster and I am shocked he was given that extension. New York is already rallying behind this kid, it’s awesome to see.
Phillip Lindsey who also went un drafted had a big rookie season for the Broncos few years back, he also mentioned still living at home. So many to assume that people are moochers when in reality it’s all just rational situations.
I don't see anything wrong with him still living at home. He's still a baby, he's single (I'm assuming), he has his whole life ahead of him. There has been a few times i had to move back home with my daughter. Thank God I had loving parents who didn't trip.

Considering that DeVito wasn't likely to become the Giants' starting QB, I can understand why he's living with his parents, especially considering how close they live to the Meadowlands. NFL players have a ton to deal with as it is, so having his parents handle some matters outside football-related stuff isn't such a bad idea.
